THE CAR IS IN GOOD MECHANICAL SHAPE. THERE ARE ALOT OF SCRATCHES ON THE CAR BUT NO SERIOUS DENTS OR BODY DAMAGE. THE INTERIOR HAS SOME WEAR AND TEAR AND NEEDS A GOOD DETAIL. I HAVE TOOK PICTURES OF THE VERY NOTICEABLE THINGS OF COURSE I DIDNT TAKE A PICTURE OF EVERY LITTLE SCRATCH BUT AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE PICS I HAVE TAKEN WHAT KINDA SHAPE THE PAINT AND INSIDE IS IN. THE TIRES HAVE PLENTY OF TREAD LEFT AND BRAKES HAVE PLENTY LEFT IN THEM. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION WAS RECENTLY SERVICE AND THE WHOLE CAR CHECKED OVER THE ONLY THING THAT WAS FOUND BAD WAS THE FUEL GAUGE IS IN ACCURATE AND NEEDS A FUEL LEVEL SENSOR THE PART COST ABOUT 110.00 AND YOU HAVE TO DROP THE FUEL TANK TO PUT IT IN I HAVE JUST BEEN SETTING THE TRIP AND FILLING UP AROUND 300 MILES OR SO WHICH IS JUST UNDER 1/4 OF A TANK. First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.

Corvette Stingray Shooting Brake under consideration by Callaway [w/poll]

Callaway has released a few renderings of a design study for a shooting brake version of the C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The company says it wants to create a long-roof version of America's sports car to offer buyers more interior room and a vehicle with "unique style." The company says it will use structural carbon fiber for the new body bits, which suggests the conversion shouldn't add too much more weight to the Corvette. Along with a few mechanical tweaks, the Callaway Corvette Stingray AeroWagon could breeze past the 200 miles per hour barrier.
Provided that they get enough interest, Callaway estimates they will be able to effect the changes on the Chevrolet for around $15,000, and says the conversion work should be available through its network of dealers.
