2002 Corvette Z06, 405HP, heads up display, dual climate control. 2 keys and 2 brand new remote fobs. Silver/black, bone stock except for air intake. Optima red top battery. Everything works, no warning lights of any kind, freezing cold air conditioning and smoking hot heat. Brand new AC delco fan blower motor and brand new AC delco coolant resevoir. Interior shows almost no wear, passenger seat has a tiny mark on the outside bolster stitching. Carpets and floor mats are like new. Paint shines like the day it was new. Car has never been involved in any accident, still wears all its original paint. No leaks of any kind anywhere. Runs, drives, shifts and stops flawlessly. Needs nothing. The tail lights, side markers and front markers were removed, professionally tinted with paint and reinstalled (the paint is like glass). The stock wheels were matte black powdercoated and are flawless. Toyo T1R tires still have plenty of life left in them. Adult owned and never beat on its entire life and it shows. 5% window tint (easily removed). All fluids just changed. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

GM dealers unhappy about pickup prices
Mon, 21 Oct 2013The backlash is beginning. Following General Motors' price hike of the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra last week, dealers across the country are expressing their ire over increasing prices in the face of rebates and discounts on trucks from Ford and Ram.
Speaking to Automotive News, Sam Pilato, the general manager at Dimmitt Chevrolet in Clearwater, FL, Silverados are "selling very poorly." W. Carrol Smith, the president of Monument Chevrolet in the heart of truck country, Texas, said, "[GM's] position is that the vehicle stands on its own and it doesn't need a bigger rebate. That's not what the market is telling us."
According to AN, that's the general attitude amongst Chevy and GMC dealers across the country, where the twin pickups are getting butchered in sales by competitors offering up to $9,000 off their sticker prices. Part of the problem for GM is that its trucks are arriving on the market near the end of the current F-150's lifecycle, a fact that Ford has taken advantage of.

Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
