THE ONLY THING REPAINTED ON THIS VEHICLE IS THE FRONT BUMPER AND THE LOWER VALANCE. THE VEHICLE HAD TO BE TOWED ONCE AS A CURB WAS HIT ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND THE VALANCE WAS INTO THE TIRE SO NOT TO TAKE A CHANCE ON FURTHER DAMAGING THE VEHICLE THE CAR WAS THEN TOWED. Just to answer some of the questions I have been asked, The car is as clean on the underside as the top.

No leaks anywhere, the car is garaged on top of my pavers, no leaks, fully serviced just last week. Tires and wheels have less than 50 miles on them,

This car is registered to me, I am not a dealer just a car nut, who has owned over 400 cars, and gets tired of cars after I have done all I can to them,

I bought this car with a very nice white vinyl top and red leather seats, I decided to change them,They are completely new inside and out with all new bolsters, and seat lowers and back, and covered with top quality Leather, not Leatherette

like most try to pass for leather!! and while doing so I also changed all the weatherstrips, and on the top all the cables and the weatherstrips.

This car looks and drives as good as my 2009 Vette convertible. you are welcome to see it in person or have any inspector come to see it.

to s**i32 I did locate a shipper who would bring the car to Canada for you for $700.00, can also pick up sometime next week

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
