1976 Corvette Stingray T-Tops and Numbers Matching with 85,000 miles

Up for sale is a numbers matching 1976 Chevrolet Corvette. It is a 37L Code car with original miles of 85,049. Interior is Red leather. Car runs perfect, however it is a 1976 so expect it to not be perfect.

1980 Front nose and rear spoiler

AC is all there, but no belt so not sure if it works correctly.

Tires are 75% all the way around but missing on center spinner.

Paint is not perfect, and If It were me i'd repaint the car because of the orange peel, but looks very nice from 10 feet away.

T-tops are nice, and don't appear to leak even after a car wash

Brakes work perfect, as does the headlights.

There appears to be no mechanical issues whatsoever.

Interior could use some TLC, maybe carpet and a good detail.

Engine runs as it should for 85,000 miles and is extremely smooth and fast. Transmissions shift perfect with no issues at all.

Gauges work with exception of the fuel, and tach. I am working on getting that handled.

There are scratches, chips, and imperfections in the paint so do not expect a perfect car, but its all here, and it runs great. I've priced it according to the value, and with a numbers matching ride to start with you can expect no problems. I'd drive this anywhere without a second thought.
Leather interior looks nice, and a new stereo with speakers was recently installed. It sounds great.

Please do not bid unless you intend to follow through on the sale. Deposit of 500.00 due at end of auction, and balance to be paid within 72 hours. I do not ship, but will assist in helping you as much as possible but that is the buyers responsibility. I make no warranty on this vehicle, and the statements above do not imply any as well. I have described this to the best of my knowledge, and my feedback speaks for itself as to how I conduct business. I will entertain all reasonable offers, but this is an original un molested 76 Corvette with 1980 Front nose and rear spoiler.

Thank you for looking.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Convertible offers a few more views before reveal

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Over the weekend, Chevrolet released its first images of the new 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible. Now, ahead of the droptop's official introduction tomorrow at the Geneva Motor Show, the automaker has given us a few more shots of the softop C7 showing off the car's rump albeit from a high, strategically positioned angle.
From this angle, it's hard to get a sense for how long and flat the decklid really is, but we can easily see that, like the rest of the C7's design, the new convertible's decklid and tonneau cover are far more detailed than the current car. We also get a better look at the rear haunches sans brake vents, which have apparently been moved to underneath the car in order to accommodate the top's hard cover.
As for the overall styling of the C7 convertible, with the top erected, we get some idea of what a coupe design (as opposed to the Stingray's fastback shape) would look like on this car. The C5 Corvette most recently had a coupe model that did away with the large glass hatchback, and we recently reported on a low-cost "coupe" model potentially being added to the C7's repertoire.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
