U are looking at most likely one of the nicest wagons in the country. This is a 1962 Corvair Monza Wagon...very rare in that alone since very few wagons were built in 62 ( last year )and only 1200 were monza wagons.

This is a complete ground up about 6 years ago...and when i say ground up..were talking subframes were taken off, motor out and shell put on a rotisserie....Then the car was rebuilt basically a nut and bolt restoration, new interior all new wiring, motor completly rebuilt, trans etc etc....car turned out amazing.....

Most of the trim on the car is original and in excellent to perfect condition, did replace all side glass with real tinted glass. There are a few body modifications, front disc brakes, 15's in the front with 17's on the rear with American racing wheels. Tires have 3000 miles on them and still like new. Car has been lowered 2 inches that gives it the perfect look. Wagon is a 4 speed and to give it a different look and performance i installed a 65 Corsa 140hp with the mated 4 speed. Motor has had a few tricks done to it so putting out closer to 160 hp...runs wonderful...has a electric fuel pump.

Car is painted 08 Viper red..single stage paint and flawless, top is a urethane silver, interior is red with the silver accents. U will not fine any imperfections in the body or paint..no dints, dings or scratches..u will be hard pressed to find any scratches from normal waxing and cleaning..like i said flawless.

Interior has been restored and is also flawless......I do drive this car to shows and cruises...it is a trailer queen but i still drive it if it is with in 100 miles.

If u want a beautiful restored wagon...this is it..one of the best u will ever fined...i have a room full of hardware to prove it. Has won numerous best of shows, always takes first in it's class..worst i ever did was a second..and the guy had a very nice 33 ford..out of 250 cars. Many best interior awards...the list goes on and on.

I don't need to sell it, have a couple other projects need to finish and could use the room....but we will see, i have to start someplace with a price but i do know what i will take...so good luck.

Deposit by pay pal with in 24 hours of auction end, rest with in 7 days.

I have perfect feedback after 12 years and plan to keep it that way..so be serious.

Thank U

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut

Mon, 28 Jan 2013

While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

Fri, 25 Oct 2013

We tell you about what a car is like to drive every day, remarking on throttle response, steering weight and feedback, squat, dive, brake fade and a dozen or more other factors of performance. What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Take a look below for all six videos from the series, or hop over to the Corvette Vimeo channel for the interactive experience, where you can see all the different metrics.
