I bought this car in 2006 from local Chevy dealer, 2nd owner bought with 29k miles, was my daily driver till 2010 when I switched to a Toyota and since then my retired father has been driving it locally.  The car runs great, sports style, 4 doors, tinted windows, automatic, good transmission, nice acceleration, you can beat any car with this one.  Actual photos shown.

It needs repairs including inspection which expired 05/13 and I just don't have the energy to get everything fixed, my local mechanic said it needs sensors as the gauges have stopped working on the speedometer, and other gauges.  This does not interfere with the operation of the vehicle, as it drives just fine, but you have no idea how fast you are going till you get it fixed or how much gasoline is in the tank.  Car was also in two minor accidents during the past 7 years I owned it, including a passenger side hit on the front bumper which I have gotten fixed but if you spend a little extra it will look nicer, as it has dents/nicks/scratches, photos shown.  Power window switches not working, driver side lock opens with key, power lock not working.  Car has two keys, including spare.  Brakes are working fine but makes a noise when you first start it up and moves it, but goes away in a few mins.  Tires and batteries are all good, timing belt was replaced last year, oil change done.  Has spoiler and a fake SS label I had put on, but this is the LS Sport.

I am selling this car really low here and got nothing to hide, ask any questions.  Please bid if you are serious.  This is a car that drives well but needs repairs as mentioned above, it can go another 100k easy if you are willing to get it fixed.  Cash payment within 48 hours of auction end and you must take car away within 24 hours of payment.  I cannot deliver to you.  Thank you.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.

Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile

Mon, 18 Nov 2013

The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.
