2013 Chevy Camaro 1le 2ss/rs on 2040-cars

Year:2013 Mileage:1604
Location:

Buffalo, New York, United States

Buffalo, New York, United States

For sale is my 2013 2SS Camaro, with the 1LE (Performance Package) and RS package. This car is still brand new (and in mint condition), with only 1,604 miles on it and has been stored in the garage since October (during winter months). This car has never seen one drop of rain either. Sticker on the car was over $43k. The Camaro comes loaded with features such as the HUD (heads-up display on the windshield), touch-screen mylink radio (with Bluetooth), LED lit door panels, Boston Acoustics sound system, rear back-up camera, 4-piston Brembo brakes, dual mode exhaust system, etc. The 1LE package is what makes this car so fun to drive!

The car also has the RS and 1LE package. Those packages include:
- RS Package: HID headlights with LED Halo Ring, Shark-fin antenna, body color molding on roof
- 1LE Package: 3.91 rear end gearing, monotube rear dampers, larger stabilizer bars (27mm front and 28mm rear), strut tower brace, ZL1 20" rims with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar G Tires, ZL1 Flat-bottom racing steering wheel, ZL1 short throw shifter, ZL1 fuel pump, ZL1 wheel bearings, ZL1 toe links, ZL1 rear shock mounts, matte-black light weight hood, black front splitter, and black rear spoiler.

In addition, the car is tuned with the Diablo Sport Intune, and I have added a billet oil catch can, cold air inductions intake, Dual Mode Exhaust Override Switch (tied into homelink buttons and a remote - can control the flaps on the exhaust and leave full open all the time), and blacked out all the chrome & badges.

This car is a blast to drive and a definite head turner. It even took 1st place for a modern car (2005-present, all classes) in the areas largest car show this past summer. In addition, my car will also be seen in an upcoming episode of My Classic Car in April. Currently, the 0-60 time on this car is in the low 4s range. The Camaro is still under full warranty, as it was purchased in May of 2013.

Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

The car is also for sale locally. The owner reserves the right to end the auction early if sold locally.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra debut all-new designs, three new engines

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

General Motors has finally dropped the curtain on the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra. Both trucks have undergone substantial revisions with updated versions of the company's 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 engines. In a shot across the bows of both Ford and Chrysler, GM says it won't use a V6 engine adapted from passenger car applications. Instead, it developed the 4.3-liter engine based on its proven truck-duty architecture.
All three mills will boast direct injection fuel systems as well as a new cylinder head design. Combined with a revised piston, the new engines feature a smaller combustion chamber with a compression ratio of 11:1 or higher depending on the application. Cylinder deactivation and continuously variable valve timing are all part of the recipe, and each engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission with auto grade breaking. So far, no fuel economy or horsepower figures have been released, though GM says the new engines will best their predecessors in both areas.
Outside, the trucks feature a number of enhancements to reduce drag and wind noise, and GM claims both the Silverado and Sierra will offer buyers some of the quietest cabins in the class. Extended cab models now feature front-hinged rear doors to allow easier access to the back passenger area, and Crew Cab buyers can now select between a five-foot, eight-inch bed or a six-foot, six-inch bed. Buyers with a mind toward going off road will also rejoice in the return of the Z71 package, complete with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and additional under-body protection.

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.
