Up for auction is a beautiful black on black 2001 Camaro Z28 with very low milage and clear title. I purchased the car about three and a half years ago with roughly 29,000 miles on it. Car currently has roughly 49,500 miles on it and runs like it did the day I bought it. Car comes equipped with almost all the factory options and some aftermarket extras, including the Corvette Z06 rims. About 2 years ago I was preparing to do a high hp build and purchased a Stage 3 build transmission with viper output shaft, capable of handling 750+hp. About 6 months later I upgraded the clutch to a Stage 3 Monster Clutch and replaced the slave cylinder, throwout bearing, pilot bearing, and installed a B&M short throw shifter, SLP air intake, and new grille cover. Unfortunately, I was forced to put the build on the back burner due to my career path. I have well over $3,000 invested in these parts alone, my loss is your gain. The car has never been involved in any kind of accident, tracked, beaten on, or abused. I have had all preventative maintenance performed on this vehicle on a regular basis, including Mobil 1 Full Synthetic Oil, Pennzoil Synchromesh Transmission Fluid, and full coolant flushes on an annual basis. The first 2 years I owned this car I lived in New York State, but have since moved to Laredo, TX. The vehicle was never driven in the winter and was always garaged. The vehicle currently has a couple minor issues, and I believe it is only fair that the next owner of this vehicle is aware of them prior to purchasing it. First, the front bumper cover has paint chips and scratches from rubbing on curbs when parking and will need to be repainted. I have had it repainted before and it was relatively inexpensive, about $100. Second, the transmission has a slight whine to it. I have talked to multiple transmission experts about this problem and all have advised me that it is likely a bearing that in no way affects the performance of operation of the transmission. Lastly, I have noticed recently that the alignment of the car is slightly off and is only apparent at speeds above 50mph. I absolutely love this car and it gets a ton of compliments everywhere I go. However, I am moving to NYC and I think this car deserves to be loved and preserved the way I have done thus far. I do not have to get rid of the car and am not looking to take a huge loss on it either. I know what the car is worth and I am willing to accept offers within reason. If you have any questions about the vehicle, please feel free to email me at bcd2288@yahoo.com or call 716-870-9361.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else
Sat, 16 Feb 2013The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.

2014 Chevrolet C7 Corvette wastes no time zooming into Jay Leno's Garage
Thu, 24 Jan 2013Where else would you expect the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray to show up first? Although this time it isn't exactly in Jay Leno's Garage, Leno instead playing an away game at Brown's Classic Auto in Scottsdale, Arizona. Nor does Leno drive the car, instead taking an 11-minute walkaround of the new American sports car with General Motors design head Ed Welburn, the same man who recently brought by a string of classic Corvettes to the talk show host's California compound.
It is, admittedly, a love-fest for the American sports car now featuring 450 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, but one that also features admissions about previous Corvette seats like "they were kinda rough," and the explanation that labeling the coupe "Stingray" means not having to call it "the base Corvette." On top of that, Welburn also explains the proper application of the term "dashboard." You can watch it all in the video below.
