1995 Chevrolet 3500 Hd Dur A Lift Bucket Utility Service Body New Tires *bad Eng on 2040-cars
North Bend, Ohio, United States
This is a low mile truck with what is believed to be a bad engine. We are not sure that it needs replaced though. Possibly needs just lower/upper engine work done. We have not assessed fully, but it got hot and was shut down and had to be towed. Everything else on truck was working when it was taken off the road. I purchased from a customer so I do not have first hand knowledge of its working condition, but have no reason to not believe what I was told. This truck has almost brand new 225/70R19.5 tires on it with 90% + tread life. The passenger side of service body has ladder racks mounted already. There is an A/C on roof of service body, unknown operating condition but was operational when truck was taken off road. There are three overhead lights in service body and again it is VERY clean. There are 110V plug ins on front and rear of truck for plugging in. This as well as internal/external lights have their own breaker located inside service body. Also there is a light module for caution and working lights in the cab. The bucket has its own controls for while you are inside bucket. There is also a remote plug in and override function so someone on ground level can operate as well. The remote comes with truck. Transmission is good and shifts fine. Inside of cab is not bad and has seat cover on seats and looks ok. There are two orange caution beacons on boom and has aluminum running boards on cab. This truck has ample storage in the tunnel and side compartments of service body. Also there is a tunnel box under rear step area and bumper. IDK for sure but I believe some of the doors on service body compartments are locked and might need to have locks drilled if keys wont fit but most compartments open and struts all seem good on the doors. This is a one TON truck with HD specs on it. I think trans is an Allison. Again I took plenty of pics to try and show as much detail as possible. If you need pics of anything I missed or have more specific questions please do not hesitate to ask. GOOD LUCK ON THIS NO RESERVE AUCTION I have a clear OH title and it will be notarized upon payment. I can arrange shipping for u out of 45052 for a 250 USD fee plus freight costs and that will include me loading the truck and arranging all of the logistics for you. Other than that you must arrange pick-up or shipping. |

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
2015 Chevy Tahoe gets Police Patrol Vehicle treatment
Thu, 07 Nov 2013That was fast. Mere days after showing a Police Concept based on the 2015 Tahoe at the SEMA Show, Chevrolet has announced that it will build a PPV model based on the SUV to do battle with the Ford Police Interceptor Utility (Explorer) and Dodge Durango Special Service.
You'll recall that the Tahoe has been police staple for several years, predating both the Explorer and Durango police variants, so the fact that the new model would spawn a police variant is hardly surprising. Like the civilian model, the 2015 PPV benefits from a more efficient 5.3-liter, direct-injection V8 that pumps out 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque. It also features more high-strength steel, offering better crash protection, on top of optional safety items like lane departure warning, forward collision alert and a Safety Alert Seat.
The press release is rather light on police-specific items, aside from the auxiliary battery, which keeps the myriad of electronics in a modern police car running even when the engine isn't. Lightbars, 17-inch steel wheels on Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires and a push bar round out the mods for the Tahoe PPV. The cabin features a revised center console and room for laptop and other equipment mounts.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
