1992 Chevrolet K3500 Silverado Standard Cab Pickup 2-door 6.5l on 2040-cars
Denton, North Carolina, United States
Everything on the truck works as it should with exception to the trip odometer and the AC needs charged. The tires on the truck will pass NC inspection but they are not a matching set. The truck has a small spot of rust in the cab corner on the drivers side but has been patched and primered and not by a professional, I did it myself to prevent the rust from going further. The paint is faded on the hood and the cab and some of the clear coat is coming off in spots. The interior is faded and the dash has cracks on it. Lastly there is a small chip in the windshield but it doesn't effect anything. Please read and understand this items listed above before bidding on this truck, this is a 1992 model and is in used condition.
Now if you have read the above and are still interested in the truck, it is a 1992 Chevrolet 3500 4X4 with a manual transmission, single cab, long bed, and the 6.5 Liter Turbo Diesel. The truck also comes with a bedliner, black tool box, and the factory steel rims have been painted black. The truck does have cruise control and it does work. Within the last year I have replace the transfer case. Other than that it is a stock truck that doesn't leak/burn oil and gets decent gas mileage for a 1 ton truck. The only reason I am selling it is to get something with an extended cab or crew cab.
Thanks for looking, please message me with any questions

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015
Mon, 25 Feb 2013General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.
Mother's Day Suggestion No. 2,506
Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Scroll down for the video, but know that the action really gets going at around the 1:40 mark.
