1976 Chevrolet Cheyenne 10, 4WD, long bed P.U., 350 cu. in., with an RV cam., manual transmission with a "Granny Low', feature. I have owned this vehicle for 20 years, it IS a fine running truck, (mechanic owned)! the body is GOOD with a few minor dings, and rust free with the exception of slight rusting at the fender wells, (normal), and surface only. A rust penetration at the right side lower part of cab, (small), and no other "major" rust existing. Body is straight with no other structural and/ or frame issues. Very good running engine with a 4 barrel Quadrajet carburetor! The tailgate has a bend because of "load shift" at one point, but does not effect closing/ opening. Vehicle has a front chrome 4wd double bar on front bumper with 2 lights, (not working), bar has some rust at top. Vehicle has a receptacle for Hitch Ball unit. Interior of vehicle is in "good condition", with a "bench" style seat and no rips in seat. Dash has a couple of slight tears, but no other major rips or tears. guages work and dash lights as well. Tires are in GOOD condition with 50% of tread left on four 31x10.50x 15 all terrain tires. two, raised white letter sxt's and two "blackwall' sxt's. I purchased this vehicle in Battleground wa., in 1992 as a "rebuilt" vehicle. It has NO frame damage what-so-ver! It has a Rebuilt title. Vehicle is currently registered and is very road worthy and runs well. Any buyer from "out of state", that will ship vehicle, vehicle shipping charges will be the responsibility of the BUYER, exclusively! My Phone number is  1-931-320-4679.

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.

GM to make most cars LTE hotspots for 2015

Mon, 25 Feb 2013

General Motors isn't the first automaker to deliver in-car Internet access, but a proposed plan announced today could make the technology more widespread than any of its competitors have offered. By the 2015 model year, most Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac and GMC products in the US and Canada will offer 4G LTE mobile broadband access. Initially, GM will just be pairing with AT&T to deliver this service, but additional carriers will be revealed in the future.
Current in-car Wi-Fi hot spots are limited to 3G, but GM says that 4G LTE is 10 times faster than 3G service and will allow for full Internet access, including streaming video for entertainment as well as services like real-time traffic updates and navigation driving directions. There is also no need for a paired smartphone with this new system, which should make it easier to use, and GM and AT&T will also be working together to develop new apps for customers.
Buyers can expect to start seeing 4G LTE in their cars starting next year, and GM is already planning to expand the service to other global markets as well. All of the information from GM's announcement is posted in a press release below.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
