This is a 1986 Chevy 4x4 short wheel base, it has the original drive train 305 automatic, 342 gears locking diff. The engine runs good and trans. and 4 wheel drive works good. Overdrive works good on interstate. Oil has been changed, trans. and rear ends have had oil changed. Air condition needs charged, truck drives and stops good, do have right carb. and air cleaner for engine. The milage on truck is actual, it has spent all its life in Mississippi, that is why it has a good body. Truck has originial paint and never been repaired. I took pics. of bad places, floor boards has some small places and one cab corner has small place and one small place on bed, that is all the rust on truck. No rust under doors or rocker panels or front fenders. You can see in pics. that truck is real solid. It has jvc radio cd player sounds real good. Truck has tilt wheel and cargo light that works. Has tinted glass. Has a mounted temp. gauge, 4x4 lights work in dash when putting in 4 wheel drive. Interior of truck is good shape. Truck has dual exhaust from muffler back with new tail pipes. Front tires are better than rear. I wanted to restore truck but it doesn't look like I will get to it

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.
Why Cadillac thinks it needs to succeed in Europe to sell cars elsewhere
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Ward's Auto has taken an interesting look at the renewed focus General Motors is showing towards Cadillac in Europe. Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet and Cadillac in Europe (pictured), says in order for the luxury brand to thrive in China, it first needs to succeed in the old country. The reason? Chinese buyers look to Europe for cues as to what's deemed worthy of the term "luxury." There are hurdles to the plan, however. In addition to the fact that the EU is flooded with high-end nameplates, GM doesn't necessarily have the distribution network in place to put buyers behind the wheel.
Combine that with persistent economic woes and Cadillac's checkered past marred by a lack of diesel engine options and a bankrupt distributor, and the road ahead for the brand looks like less of an uphill climb and more like a straight-up cliff face.
