Up for Sale Today is a 1998 Chevrolet Silverado C1500. It has the 305 5.0L V8 with an Automatic Transmission. The truck has 58k Original Miles on it and the 1 and Only Owner was an 80 year old man from my town. He always kept up with the maintenance and the truck runs and drives like brand new! The truck is in overall excellent condition except for the rear quarter panel on the drivers side. He must have backed into something while driving it and the bumper pushed in the bed. The rear bumper has been replaced with a brand new one and the damage to the bed is an easy fix. There is also a crack in the windshield. Other than these things listed the truck is in very nice condition. The truck has power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, and a power seat. It also has an AM/FM Radio with a cassette player, cruise control, tilt wheel, and has the Third Door option. The truck will have brand new matching tires in the front to go with the rear tires that have about 70% tread left.  I have tried to include as many pictures of the truck as I can, if you would like more pictures of it you can message me and I will send you whatever you would like to see.

The truck is available to see by appointment in Rockaway, NJ. I will assist with shipping the truck if it is needed. If you have any questions at all please ask and I will do my best to answer them as fast as possible. Thank you and Good luck! photo DSC_0470_zpscfd8146f.jpg photo DSC_0469_zps434fe27f.jpg photo DSC_0471_zps1680133f.jpg photo DSC_0472_zps1eeb70c3.jpg photo DSC_0473_zpsac87de20.jpg photo DSC_0474_zps307b0744.jpg photo DSC_0475_zps6cbe6684.jpg photo DSC_0476_zpsb1ad9acf.jpg photo DSC_0477_zpsbacb3b6b.jpg photo DSC_0479_zpsb1ee73a5.jpg photo DSC_0480_zps029a787b.jpg photo DSC_0481_zps89c58866.jpg photo DSC_0482_zps2e2023c7.jpg photo DSC_0483_zps2c1aa76d.jpg photo DSC_0484_zpsd9ec083a.jpg photo DSC_0485_zps755646dd.jpg photo DSC_0486_zpsf1e1af34.jpg photo DSC_0487_zps48c075be.jpg photo DSC_0488_zpsdafbbc87.jpg photo DSC_0489_zps84d42e55.jpg photo DSC_0490_zpsfb65afec.jpg photo DSC_0491_zps80ad061e.jpg photo DSC_0492_zps6aa2378d.jpg photo DSC_0493_zpsfceb97d3.jpg photo DSC_0494_zps6e931e25.jpg photo DSC_0495_zps9534f25b.jpg photo DSC_0496_zpsa67aad68.jpg photo DSC_0497_zpsb1ad4fc7.jpg photo DSC_0498_zpsa583a157.jpg photo DSC_0499_zps0a604445.jpg photo DSC_0500_zps32a35a94.jpg photo DSC_0501_zpsbaa4c1c0.jpg photo DSC_0502_zpsb82a53c5.jpg photo DSC_0503_zps0a3ac16a.jpg photo DSC_0504_zps706a8cda.jpg photo DSC_0505_zpsccaec253.jpg photo DSC_0506_zpsb71bcd73.jpg photo DSC_0507_zps5e95157e.jpg photo DSC_0508_zps44d57223.jpg photo DSC_0509_zps2b0efe3a.jpg photo DSC_0510_zps4f8e0a74.jpg photo DSC_0511_zps0abc6b3f.jpg photo DSC_0512_zps07829a19.jpg photo DSC_0514_zps091f9578.jpg photo IMG_4617_zps29ec249e.jpg

CNG-powered Chevy Sonic, Cruze headed your way

Fri, Nov 7 2014

The value proposition for a Crazy Diamond Performance CNG ride was a little bit better before gas prices took a dive in the past month. Still, the Michigan-based company, which converts some of Chevrolet's compact vehicles to run on compressed natural gas, received approval late last month from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for two of its conversion models. And CNG is still pretty cheap. Crazy Diamond will start selling CNG versions of both the Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Sonic. The startup will target fleet operators looking to cut both refueling costs and their carbon footprint. CNG can be found in much of the country in the low $2 range, while the average CO2 emissions are about 25 percent less than those of similar gas-powered vehicles. Average gas prices have tumbled by more than 30 cents a gallon in the last month, according to AAA, but they're still at close to $3. The two models will be able to go almost 300 miles on a full tank of CNG. Crazy Diamond said this summer that it would start selling converted a CNG-powered Cruze that delivers 130 horsepower for as low as $26,000. The turbocharged version goes for about $28,000. Take a look at Crazy Diamond Performance's celebratory press release below. Crazy Diamond Performance recieves EPA approval on its CNG Cruze and Sonic CDP receives EPA approval for its Mono-Fuel CNG Cruze and Sonic. Shelby Township, Michigan, October 30, 2014– Crazy Diamond Performance (CDP) receives EPA approval on its Mono-Fuel Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Sonic. Crazy Diamond Performance has received EPA approval on two new mono-fuel small passenger vehicles, the CNG Chevrolet Cruze and CNG Chevrolet Sonic. These new mono-fuel CNG platforms are the first of a series of small and fuel efficient vehicles coming from CDP, where cost, low emissions and reduced fuel consumption is important for not only fleet owners, but to the general public as well. "Soon to be available, are the 1.8L and 1.4L Cruze and Sonic CNG retrofit systems. These two vehicles represent a change in the status quo, with an OEM level integration of the fuel system and its components" states Michelle Fern, Executive Vice President CDP Inc. These vehicles provide flexibility for fleets looking to purchase a domestic small mono-fuel passenger sedan, but have not had an option until now. There are significant emissions benefits over its gasoline counterpart, with an average reduction in Carbon Dioxide (CO2) of 25%.

Race Recap: Rolex 24 at Daytona was fast and feisty

Mon, Jan 26 2015

Let the record show that victory at the 2015 Rolex 24 at Daytona went to the No. 02 Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates Target/Ford EcoBoost Riley DP driven by Verizon IndyCar drivers Scott Dixon and Tony Kanaan and NASCAR drivers Jamie McMurray and Kyle Larson. The winner did 740 laps to cover 2,634.3 miles in 24 hours and 57.667 seconds. That's a statement to this year's pace in spite of 18 cautions, two more than last year: the Michael Shank Racing Ligier got pole with a time of 1:39.194, slower than last year's pole time of 1:38.270; however, the winning car last year only did 695 laps. The fight for top honors was shaved to a four-car battle over the first third of the event. The No. 02 Ganassi car took the lead on the first lap, swapping it well into the night with the No. 01 Ganassi car, the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Corvette DP, and the defending champion No. 5 Action Express Corvette DP, all of them staying within about 20 seconds of one another. The Action Express car had a fuel connector come loose and lost three laps getting towed back to the pits to have it reattached, but was back in the lead 18 hours in. The No. 01 Ganassi car dropped out with recurring clutch problems 22 hours in, retiring not long after. A race-within-the-race is where the concluding action happened, a seven minute, 30-second dash from the end of the last caution to the checkered flag. During the penultimate pit stops with an hour to go, Dixon was in second place followed Jordan Taylor in the Wayne Taylor Racing DP into the pits but beat him out, taking the lead. The Action Express car was in third. In the last pit stops of the race, Dixon gained even more time, getting a four-second advantage over Taylor. Then a full-course caution came out twenty minutes before the finish when a Prototype Challenge car hit the wall and caught fire, bunching up the field. That closed the pits, but the Wayne Taylor Racing car had to pit during that yellow because of a miscalculation of driver time. No driver can be behind the wheel for more than four hours in a six-hour period but Jordan Taylor was going to go over, so he came in to swap out for brother Ricky. That cost the team any chance of second place, since they took an additional drive-through penalty for entering closed pits. When the track went green again, Sebastien Bourdais in the Action Express car stayed all over Dixon for the final five laps but couldn't get around him.

Chevy Volt 'acceptable,' Nissan Leaf 'poor' in new IIHS safety tests

Thu, Jul 31 2014

Ford C-Max Hybrid also scored "acceptable" rating. With US Nissan Leaf sales up almost 30 percent during the first half of the year, the only thing that might be able to stop the battery-electric vehicle is a good, stiff barrier. Unfortunately, thing's aren't always pretty when that happens in the real world, according to new tests from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Things with the Chevrolet Volt extended-range plug-in are a little bit rosier, though. The two plug-in vehicles were part of a batch of a dozen vehicles that just went through the IIHS's "small overlap" test, in which the driver's side front corner of the vehicle is crashed into a rigid barrier at 40 miles per hour. Out of the dozen, only the Mini Cooper Countryman was given a "good" rating. Five vehicles, including the Volt and the Ford C-Max Hybrid, were rated "acceptable," two were "marginal" and two, including the Leaf, were "poor." Plug-in vehicles are unique in the crash-test context because of their relatively large battery sizes. In the Volt's case, the driver had a "low risk" of injury, said the IIHS. But the Leaf's crash substantially pushed back the instrument panel and steering column, creating a scenario where the driver was "likely" to sustain leg injuries. The batteries in both the Leaf and the Volt passed safety tests specifically targeted at things like thermo and electrical properties and overall integrity. "Nissan is proud of the Leaf's 'Good' rating in all other IIHS tests, a 4-star NCAP rating from NHTSA and its IIHS Top Safety Pick rating in all previous years since the car's release," the company said in an e-mail sent to AutoblogGreen. "As for the performance of the 2014 Leaf in the 'small overlap frontal test,' Nissan will continue to review these and other results from the IIHS 'small overlap frontal test' as we seek opportunities for improvement." Check out the IIHS's press release and small car crash-test video footage below. Range of ratings: Small car ratings run the gamut in challenging small overlap front test The Mini Cooper Countryman is the only small car to earn a good rating among the latest group of 12 cars subjected to the Institute's small overlap front crash test. Two electric models and a hybrid also are in the mix, with varied results. The electric-powered Chevrolet Volt (with a gasoline engine "range extender") earns an acceptable rating, while its battery-electric rival, the Nissan Leaf, earns a poor rating.
