Awesome shortbed chevy truck. All interior has been completly redone except for new carpet. Truck has power windows and door locks. All gauges work. Engine is a factory aluminum headed 350 out of a 1989 chevy corvette (I have checked the block numbers). Has a great sounding cam, headers, power steering, flowmater dual exhaust, edelbrock carb with aluminum intake. Basic looking under the hood with no chrome at all. Still has all a/c components installed but it does not cool. Probably needs compressor but never bothered with it. I had the 700r4 overdrive transmission completely rebuilt with good parts like beast sunshell, updated clutch pack, valve body work and shift kit. Will put a kink in your neck when it shifts if you dont expect it. Rally wheels with almost brand new tires. Truck runs great with no issues and ZERO rust on the body. If its ever had rockers and cab corners put in I sure cant tell it. Has the steel cowl hood not fiberglass and all interior parts were purchased from LMC Trucks website. These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky
Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

Thu, 13 Dec 2012Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
