1965 Chevy C-10 custom. older restoration , runs and drives great . rebuilt brakes all 4 wheels ( drums) power steering manual brakes ( converted to dual master cylinder) new gas tank , recent tune up , all good glass with sliding back window

has aftermarket side rails on bed and diamond plate toolbox . bed wood is all there some small holes in front corners of wood . paint on truck is good , worst spots are on the cowl, drivers side has crack and passenger side has flaked away , some small rust bubbles on lower fenders, edge of hood and rocker panels ( can provide detailed pics if interested) overall the paint is very nice . Chevy 350 runs strong ( true mileage unknown says 86355/4 on the odometer ), chrome valve covers and air cleaner , it has aluminum roller rockers and RV cam , headers with dual exhaust , transmission shifts strong too . cool diamond stitched interior with upholstered door panels and headliner , (I have a new in box carpet as well, there's nothing wrong with the carpet that's in the truck) good tires with cool 6 lug Western brand slotted wheels , new front 2 inch dropped coils for that 70's rake . underside of truck frame has been painted probably with por-15 or a similar type of rust inhibitor

truck has great overall patina and would be a great daily driver.

Living in an apartment complex has its benefits, but for shade-tree mechanics who like/need to work on their own cars, it definitely has a number of disadvantages. Relatively simple tasks such as brake jobs and oil changes are difficult when you don't have dedicated driveway space, to say nothing of more in-depth repairs... like pulling an engine, for example.

C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey

If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
