|                                        NO RESERVE This truck is listed in other venues and locally so I may end the auction @ any time, call 580-786-2005 with any ?'s you may have or to make me an offer I can't refuse. I do have a connection with an Owner/Operator (NOT A BROKER) to ship @ $1.00 a loaded mile I'm a mid 60's year old owner and can tell you this is 1 solid truck, not hacked up over the years. 109,000 og miles that runs and drives great. Touch the key and it barks right off. Has new coated headers, S.S. mufflers and pipes that sound great. Lowered the right way with all Bell Tech parts, rolling on 18's and 20's with Goodyear tires (less than 1000 miles) Power brakes conversion just completed, also all new belts hoses, battery etc. Front and rear bumpers are new also Aftermarket A/C that blows KQQL. All lights, wipers etc work, all glass is good. Clean interior, could use new door weatherstrips and that's it  It was repainted in the mid 90's and I tried to buff it out, but it was too far gone so I buffed thru in various places to give it that popular barn find/ patina look. The wood in the bed was changed prior to me getting it, but I sanded it and applied 2 coats of urethane and it came back to life. This is just a REAL SOLID truck you can jump in and drive anywhere. Look @ some of the other BONDO BUCKETS here on EBay that they want BIG BUCKS 4 and compare them to this 1 then you be the judge, call 580-786-2005 and make me an offer, not many out there like this 1. Just want to down size as I have too many vehicles. On Sep-21-14 at 12:04:16 PDT, seller added the following information: 70 of ya watching it and have had 2 offers on it but both were less than it is sitting @ right now (Sunday afternoon @ 2 pm.) If your a serious buyer give me a call @ 580-786-2005 and I'll end it early if we can come to terms. Don't like playing the "Last minute games" The last 3 cars I've sold have ended 3 to 4 days before the listing ends. So give me a call and let's put a deal together. Again, thanx for your consideration |

Most of the US won't get 2016 Chevy Volt
Tue, Sep 8 2015Every major plug-in vehicle launch in the US has been a patchwork operation, with automakers focusing their initial efforts on targeted locations like California where they expect to sell the most units. Today, we learned that even five years into the plug-in car project, the game remains the same. According to GM, the second-gen Chevy Volt is going to be rolled out in the same manner. In fact, GM is limiting availability of the 2016 model year Volt so much that most of the US will not have access to the car at all. For 39 states, the second-gen Volt will first be available as a 2017 model year vehicle at some point in the spring of 2016. When GM announced the buying process for the new Volt, it made it clear that dealers in California would be the first to place their orders. Hybrid Cars now reports that the first deliveries will be also limited to California and 10 other states that follow the California Air Resourced Board (CARB) rules: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland , Maine, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont. GM spokesman Kevin Kelly told AutoblogGreen that this is all according to plan. "Chevrolet has a shortened model year for the 2016 Chevy Volt that will have a limited distribution network," he said. "The 2016 Volt will be sold in our strongest EREV markets. The 2017 Chevrolet Volt will begin production early this spring and will be available throughout the country." It appears that non-CARB state Volt customers will be able to order their Volts starting October 1, according to documents posted on Hybrid Cars, where we also learn that 2016 Volt production for California started in August, will begin in late October for the other 10 CARB states, and in early 2016 for the rest of the US. Unsurprisingly, dealers outside of the 11 CARB states have been complaining that they can't order the much-anticipated new Volt for their customers just yet. Related Video:
2022 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra now cost more, again
Thu, May 26 2022GM Authority put Chevrolet and GMC pickup truck prices under the microscope, spying the same macroscopic issues none of us can avoid seeing: Price increases. The 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 have been hit with their third price increases this year. The Heavy Duty versions of those same trucks have been given their fourth price increases this year. Starting with the light-duty options, they've been rung up for another $900 across the board, which breaks down to $800 added to the MSRP and $100 added to the destination charge. The mandatory cost for shipping a truck from the factory to the dealer is now $1,795. That destination fee is now more than 5% of the purchase price of the least expensive 2022 Silverado, the Regular Cab Work Truck trim with a Standard Bed and 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder retailing for $36,395 after destination. And that price is $3,200 more than the initial list price from last December. At the other end, the Silverado ZR2 is up $3,400. Average that out, and the Silverado's MSRP has gone up by nearly $700 every month since initial pricing came out. On the GMC side, the bidding starts at $37,195 for the Regular Cab Pro trim with a Standard Bed, a $4,700 increase over pricing announced last October. Stepping up a tow rating or two, the Silverado HD is now $1,100 more expensive — $1,000 tacked onto the MSRP, the destination charge plumped another $100 to $1,795. The Silvy 2500 HD now starts at $41,295. The Sierra HD turns the screw a few more degrees, going up by $2,100 after the $100 increase for destination. The low bar for the Sierra 2500 HD is $41,995, a $4,100 rise over the price when it hit dealer lots last summer. Whew. Anyone know where the exit is for this "new normal?" Related video:
GM takes heat for aborted Silverado riff on 'Boston Strong' at World Series
Thu, 31 Oct 2013During game five of the World Series, Chevrolet was set to do a spot of marketing for the 2014 Silverado - fans at Busch Stadium in St. Louis would hold up placards that spelled out the words "Silverado Strong," a theme that Chevy has been promoting since the Silverado's launch with the song "Strong," by Will Hoge. The St. Louis promo was ultimately called off, though, over concerns that it'd be insensitive to the visiting Boston Red Sox. (You can see the image of what the stunt would have looked like above, courtesy of one timely Reddit user.)
Now, the Busch Stadium stunt might not have been a big deal, had the St. Louis Cardinals not been playing the Boston Red Sox. Following the tragic events in Boston during the marathon back in April, the phrase "Boston Strong" gained traction among the city's citizens, especially at sporting events. So, you can imagine that Chevy's appropriation of the phrase might not sit well with some fans.
The stunt was ultimately shelved after images of the signs went viral before the game, leading to a bit of a public backlash. Chevy spokesperson Michael Albano said of the promo that it was meant to show the brand's "commitment to baseball and its fans." But after the images went viral, the company "realized there was the possibility that we may offend some of the very fans we were trying to honor," Albano told Automotive News via email.
