I am selling my 1971 Chevrolet c-10 pick-up with a 454 motor. From the southwest and Runs and Drives great!! new sony Cd player with new sony speakers, power steering, tires are about 95% with new looking stock chevy wheels but i would recommend getting some old school wheels.I started the restoration but is not perfect so please take your time and look at pictures, please call or email me for more pictures.the driver door latch is broken as you can see in pictures but i did buy a new handle so it will be installed very soon. And the paint right next to the driver side door handle is cranking:( the mileage shows 28k but it is box c on title because only being a 5 digit odometer. What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
