1969 Chevrolet C-10 Pickup Truck-short Wheel Base-automatic-327motor-runs Great on 2040-cars
Columbia, Kentucky, United States
Here is a 1969 Chevy pickup truck for sale. This is the short wheel base. For the year, a 1969, I think this truck is in great shape. It has very little rust, and is solid.
Truck has the 327 engine in it ,that runs great, and it's original. It has an automatic transmission, with a 3 speed on the column. Transmission is in excellent shape, as far as I can tell. I drive the truck 2 or 3 times a week. It had some rust on the bedsides. You can see from the pictures where I repaired it. Had to do very little to it. The only reason I am selling this truck, is because I can't find the time to finish it. I stay busy with customer's vehicles, and I can't seem to be able to work on my own, so I'm selling it. Truck has a clear Kentucky title.(See pictures). It will need both rockers put in it, and I was going to replace the driver's side floor pan. It is useable, but I was going to replace it. That's all I can really tell you about it. The truck is solid, and it runs great. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. Come drive it, you don't have to take my word for it. Like I said it's a good old truck. For more information, you can call 606-303-2988. Truck is located in Columbia, Kentucky. Truck is being sold as-is, with no warranty. Thanks for looking, and have a great day. |

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.
UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant
Tue, 08 Apr 2014The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."
