BED WAS STRIPPED TO METAL INSIDE AND OUT INNER DOOR JAMS AND DASH TOO THEN PRIMERED STILL NEEDS WORK ALL MAJOR BODY WORK HAS BEEN TAKEN CARE OF NEEDS BLOCKING MOSTLY. DOES HAVE VERY LITTLE RUST ON THE ON SIDE OF THE BOTTOM RIGHT DOOR PEN HOLE SIZE EASY FIX FLOORS ARE SOLID AS FAR AS I CAN SEE RAIN GUTTERS ARE CLEAN. STILL HAS THE HEATER EQUIPMENT UNDER DASH ALTHOUGH I WASNT GOING TO USE IT I WAS GONNA SHAVE THE FIREWALL. I BOUTGH THIS TRUCK FULLY RUNNING CONDITION SOUNDED GREAT AND RAN GREAT LOTS OF POWER HAS A SBC 350 WITH AUTOMATIC TURBO 400 TRANSMISION HEADERS AND CHERRY PIPES . COMES WITH EVERYTHING MINUS THE WINDSHIELD. 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

Fri, 22 Mar 2013When it comes to technology used in racecars, we generally expect it to trickle down to production cars, not the other way around. Well, Pratt & Miller has developed a new rear-facing radar that operates in a similar fashion to what we're used to in modern blind spot detection systems, only it is also capable of tracking cars as they approach and relaying vital information to the driver via a large display screen.
The innovative radar system debuted at last weekend's 12 Hours of Sebring for Corvette Racing, and this system makes perfect sense for endurance races like this since the cars sometimes have to drive through the night and in poor weather conditions.
The radar can detect cars even with poor visibility, and uses easy-to-distinguish symbols for the driver to identify.
GM won't sell 2014 Chevrolet SS in Canada
Thu, 21 Feb 2013Allow us to be the first to extend our condolences to our friends to the north. General Motors has announced the 2014 Chevrolet SS will not be available in Canada. The Globe and Mail reports the automaker has confirmed the high-performance sedan won't hit Canadian dealers, though GM hasn't offered up any reasoning as to why that is.
Buyers here in the US of A, meanwhile, can look forward to getting their hands on the 415-horspower, rear-wheel drive SS by late summer. Something tells us it won't be long after that before Canadian officials start seeing individually imported 6.2-liter V8 four-doors in their neighborhoods. Fortunately, Canadian buyers will still be able to take home the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The C7 bowed at the Canadian International Auto Show last week, reportedly drawing sizable crowds and interest.
