1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery Resto Mod Wagon 90% Completed on 2040-cars

1955 Chevy Sedan Delivery Resto Mod Wagon 90% Completed Bought this from an estate sale. I have 3 car projects going right now, and need to make some room. Over $40,000 invested. 90% completed. PPG paint, Hoosier tires, American racing wheel, front disc brakes, 383 stroker motor, 4 speed manual transmission, loads of parts to finish this project and have a quality ride. The car is full with parts, all painted pieces have been bubble wrapped to keep clean. Most everything to complete the car. Items that I know are missing; front bumper, radiator support brace, drive shaft, good interior seating, and I'm sure a few other things. All the high dollar parts are their. The previous owner had bought several $1,000's in new parts (still in boxes); front grill, radiator, all badges, hood ornaments, all new rubber, gas tank, trim, etc. This has been a frame off restoration, frame is powder coated, all metal has been stripped, and either powder coated or painted. Front, rear, and side glass for car as well. I have a full picture inventory of the parts, and the car. I have a pretty good knowledge of what came with it and what needs to finish her. I have restored several muscle cars over the years and feel that 100-150 hrs. of labor and some parts would get this on the road and worth some good dollars and lots of fun.Can prep the car for shipment and have a car trailer if buyer is local. Call me with any questions. Mike 949.400.0181 |

More Corvette Stingray Factoids: Vanishing panel gaps and 26-mpg LT1
Thu, 28 Feb 2013During January's Detroit Auto Show, we managed a longer than expected wandering tag-team interview with C7 Corvette chief engineering exec Tadge Juechter (pictured above), and LT1 engine boss Jordan Lee (pictured below). They are, quite honestly, two of the very nicest bigshot lads to ever walk the engineering corridors of an American manufacturer. Both are enthralled by what they're doing for a day job. So are we.
We've followed the pre-sale anticipation for the Chevrolet C7 Corvette Stingray like an Oreck vacuum yanking every speck of dirt from a well-trampled carpet. Everything is reportable and contains a grain of further knowledge about this dramatically important and cheered-for car, as it continues to be pressured into representing all that is superior about the American dream. The Corvette wears one heavy cloak.
So, most of what was talked about has been expertly reported already right here on Autoblog. But, looking through our notes again, both Jeuchter and Lee added facts to the buzzing mix.
First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.
