HERE FOR SALE IS A 2000 CHEVY ASTRO VAN WITH A 5 INCH LIFT AND 17 INCH WHEELS AND TIRES,IT IS A TON OF FUN TO DRIVE AND GETS LOOKS AND THUMBS UP EVERYWHERE IT GOES, IT IS IN GOOD CONDITION BUT NOT A SHOW PEICE, IT RUNS GREAT , DOES NOT USE ANY OIL AND EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD, NO ENGINE LIGHTS OR CODES, IT HAS A NICE AIR FILTER AND DUAL ELECTRIC FANS TO MAKE IT RUN MORE EFFICIENT, IT DOES HAVE SOME ROCK CHIPS AND SOME SCRATCHES AND A CRACK IN THE WINDSHEILD, WHEN i BOUGHT THE VAN A FEW YEARS AGO THE PREVIOUS OWNER HAD REAR ENDED A CAR AT A VERY SLOW SPEED, I DID HAVE TO REPLACE THE RADIATOR , GRILL AND FRONT BUMBER, HOWEVER IT WAS ALL DONE WITH ORIGINAL CHEVROLET PARTS AND HAS A CLEAN TITLE, I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT FOR A COUPLE YEARS AND HAS NOT GIVEN ME ANY TROUBLE AT ALL, THE VAN DRIVES VERY NICE IT IS ACTUALLY MORE STABLE NOW WITH THE LIFT AND WIDER STANCE THAN IT WAS IN ITS STOCK FORM, IT DOES EXTREMLY WELL IN THE WINTER TIME, I REALLY HATE TO SELL IT , MY FAMILY AND I HAVE GROWN VERY ATTATCHED TO IT BUT I SIMPLY HAVE TO MANY VEHICLES AND NEED TO MAKE ROOM, FEEL FREE TO ASK IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS THANKS FOR LOOKING

Next-gen Chevy Cruze caught cruising in the cold
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Spy photographers have caught what looks like the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze out on snow patrol. The camo could be tricking our eyes, but it look like it has an even tidier, more rounded front end and even lower fenders in relation to the top of the hood. And either a chunk of camo has been wedged between the side mirrors and the doors, or the mirrors are up for revision, too.
The door handles have been moved up the side of the car, leading the way to a rear end that grows a bit in length. If the rumors are true, the coming second-generation Cruze sits on the new D2XX platform that will replace the Delta and Theta platforms at General Motors. A global architecture, the Cruze will be the first to get it, but it will underpin everything from next Chevrolet Volt to the Equinox and could be responsible for 2.5 million units by 2018. The next Cruze is expected to begin production in GM's Lordstown, Ohio plant in the third quarter of 2014.
NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall

The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
