2000 Cadillac Deville Dts Sedan No Reserve!!!! Clean!! on 2040-cars
Galena, Illinois, United States
This is a NO RESERVE auction for a VERY CLEAN, VERY NICE Cadillac Deville DTS with 134,398 miles on it which were mostly highway due to the location of my job. This vehicle has absolutely NO MECHANICAL PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER!! Besides the fact that it has a lot of miles, it is an absolute very great wonderful car to have. I purchased this vehicle from a government seizure auction last year and had maintained it very well the whole time I had it. I used this vehicle for my own personal use as I had other vehicles to use for my business. This vehicles RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT!!! It drives VERY SMOOTH AND QUIET!! It has NO NOISES, NO LEAKS, NO RUST, NO DENTS, NO MAJOR SCRATCHES!! I have the ACTUAL WINDOW STICKER FROM NEW on this car which was in the glove box along with all the paperwork to this vehicle when I purchased it. It has both factory cassette and CD stereo and ALL MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS WORK GREAT!! It has POWER EVERYTHING!! This vehicle has so many luxury options that you would very much like. It has very good treaded Goodyear tires with about 8/32 tread on them. I have kept the fluids clean, replaced the brake pads and rotors 2,000 miles ago, replaced the spark plugs, wires, and did a coolant flush about 12 miles ago. I have ALL MAINTENANCE RECORDS AND RECIEPTS FROM THE WHOLE TIME I HAD IT!! The LEATHER IS VERY CLEAN WITH NO CRACKS OR TEARS anywhere throughout the whole interior!! This car is a great car for a great price, however it is still a used vehicle and over 10 years old and over 100k miles, so it has average wear and tear. There is a 'Buy it Now' price on here, but I think that usually goes away once a bid is placed. I took a lot of pride in this car and planned on keeping it for longer, however I have a medical issue and do have to distribute this Cadillac Deville along with other vehicles for my business which will be posted up in ebay in the weeks to come. I am new to ebay as I do need to distribute these vehicles in an efficient way, so feedback is not much. Therefore if you would like to view and inspect this vehicles for yourself or have any questions, feel free to call me at 815-306-8173. Thanks and good luck bidding.

GM outlines strategy for new products, growth in China
Wed, 01 Oct 2014
"Our strategic plan is a pathway to earn customers for life and create significant shareholder value in the process." - Mary Barra
General Motors laid out ambitious plans on Wednesday to become the world's "most valued automotive company," a goal it says it can reach by strengthening its business in China, rebuilding the Cadillac luxury brand and fixing the foundering GM Europe operations.
Autoweek divulges details on Presidential limo
Tue, 22 Oct 2013Ever since the latest presidential limousine, also known as The Beast, debuted in 2009, we've wondered what's underneath that black Cadillac body. We already know a few details, like the fact it isn't a Cadillac at all, but a very heavy duty truck chassis from General Motors with a body that resembles a super-sized Caddy. Autoweek, however, has managed to extract new details from veteran Secret Service agents about the closely guarded presidential limo. Their methods, of course, are classified.
Designed to be a rolling office, bunker and escape pod all in one, the current presidential limo is far different from previous presidential state cars, which were heavily modified production vehicles. As we would expect, The Beast uses thick, military-grade body armor (eight inches on the doors), an armored fuel tank, special run-flat tires with Kevlar lining, an encrypted satellite phone, a fully sealed cabin with its own oxygen supply and a trunk full of weapons and medical equipment that includes a supply of the President's blood type (in case the car gets cut off from the ambulance that's always present in the President's motorcade).
The Beast also comes with a Halon fire-suppression system, night vision and is powered by a V8 engine, which we already knew runs on gas and not diesel, that returns an EPA-unfriendly estimated 3.7 miles per gallon. The Secret Service operates a fleet of 12 limos and each Beast costs $1.5 million. Lastly, AW estimates that the 18-foot-long state car weighs 15,000 pounds, and each Secret Service agent that drives the car must be specially trained to maneuver such a massive vehicle.
Is Lincoln MKC cutting into Cadillac SRX sales?
Tue, 07 Oct 2014The two big American luxury brands of Cadillac and Lincoln are on surprisingly similar paths at the moment with both divisions hoping to redefine themselves and grow popularity. They're still early in the process with no clear winner yet, but things might actually be looking up for Lincoln's latest model, according to a monthly sales analysis from The Motley Fool. It seems, at least early on, that the new MKC crossover might be taking a bite out of the Cadillac SRX's growth.
The MKC launched just a few months ago and has been getting a big marketing push from a series of oft-mocked ads starring the smooth-talking Matthew McConaughey. The luxury CUV has been the popular, new kid on the block with growing sales since its introduction. While smaller than the SRX, the Lincoln starts at a lower price and offers better fuel economy.
Through June, the SRX performed well with sales up over 20 percent on average through June, according to The Motley Fool. However, July and August saw things plummet with year-over-year drops of 7 percent and 37 percent, respectively. It still far outsold the MKC in terms of actual units in a given month, but the Caddy's continued growth has appeared to stagnate.
