2007 Audi S4 Avant on 2040-cars

IF YOU ARE INTERESTED EMAIL ME AT: susannevallimont@netzero.net .
For sale is this beautiful and rare 2007 Audi S4 Avant Quattro with a 6 speed manual transmission. Per Audi USA,
this is one of two Imola Yellow Manual Avants in this body style imported in the US. This car has been one-owner
enthusiast owned and responsibly driven from day one, the overall cosmetic and mechanical condition of the car is a
reflection of its ownership history. This S4 is loaded with every factory option offered including navigation,
Audio (BOSE) package, Bluetooth, Gray Birch wood trim, Rear Side Airbags, Parktronic, Heated Rear Seats, and Rear
Window shades. Both sets of keys and the complete and detailed maintenance records, original window sticker, and
complete owner’s manual will be included with the sale. Car currently has 76,700 miles on it.
Exterior condition:
The overall exterior of this car is a 9.5 out of 10. The front does show a couple of very minuscule rock chips from
highway driving. That’s it. The car has been garaged from day one, and professionally detailed periodically. The
paint shines beautifully! Tires are fairly new and have plenty of miles left on them. The Continental summer tires
are on a set of Ronal for Audi 18” wheels that are shown in the pictures. The wheels were custom painted by the
importer specifically for this car with Imola Yellow. The stock wheels have all season tires on them that are
fairly new as well, and will be included in the transaction. The only modification is European yellow fog lights,
and LED parking lights.
Interior condition:
The interior of this car is immaculate. All the electronics work perfectly as they should including the navigation
system. The leather side bolsters has almost zero wear. Everything is in beautiful condition. Stereo, navigation,
seat heaters front and rear, AC, windows, door locks, sunroof, power seats, memory function, etc all work perfectly
as they should.
Mechanical:
The car runs and drives beautifully and is a pleasure to drive every day. This car has been dealership maintained
by Audi of Tysons Corner for its entire life, these service visits have been documented. Currently the car has zero
issues that the next owner should address. Even the troublesome adaptive xenon headlamp module works flawlessly.
The car runs and drives perfectly. The motor pulls strong and does not leak or burn any oil. The transmission
shifts smoothly and the clutch feels great.
This is a perfect example of the iconic S4 Avant with the hard to find 6 speed manual transmission. They have not
imported very many S4 wagons, and even fewer with a manual, and only two of those are Imola Yellow. Don’t miss
out on this well maintained example. Considering the rarity of the car, the overall condition, and the maintenance
that has been performed, I have priced the car accordingly.

Audi R8 V10 Plus vs. Renault Clio Cup racecar will make you go hmmm...
Fri, 18 Jul 2014Match up a hot hatch with a supercar of the same vintage, and we'll tell you who will win every time. It's easy, really, as the supercar invariably features a more advanced suspension, stickier tires and most importantly, more power. What if the hot hatch is race prepped, though?
In that particular case, all bets are off. A circuit-tuned suspension, a stripped-down cabin, an ultra-quick sequential transmission and the greatest equalizer of them all, slick tires, are all that's needed to turn the typical hot hatch into a proper dragon slayer.
Perhaps seeking to prove this, Evo has put together an interesting head-to-head between the Audi R8 V10 and a race-prepared Renault Clio Cup. Host Dickie Meaden takes us through each car, highlighting the bits and bobs on both sides which should make this a tight competition. And boy, is this one tight.
Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro Selection puts a fresh face on old memories
Tue, 04 Mar 2014I've been fortunate enough to drive plenty of memorable cars over the years, and one of my all-time favorites is the Audi RS4 sedan. It was only sold in the United States for a short time, but during that quick run, it made a huge impression on me. I remember everything about that car - the smell, the sound, the exact feeling of the manual shifter as it clicked between the six gears, and the texture of the steering wheel that I so happily tossed about. In fact, whenever I'm feeling nostalgic, I go back and watch this video of the late David E. Davis, Jr., running the California Mille roads in a Sprint Blue RS4 - a video we shot for Winding Road many years ago during my tenure as an editor there.
So even though the Audi RS4 Avant Nogaro that debuts here in Geneva isn't super important, especially for our American-centric audience, I feel compelled to write about it. No, we don't get the lovely RS4 in the States anymore, but the package offered in Europe is just as sweet as ever - perhaps even more so, what with that stylish longroof shape. Under the hood is Audi's excellent, naturally aspirated 4.2-liter V8 engine, tuned to deliver 450 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque, allowing for a 0-62 sprint of 4.7 seconds.
The Nogaro name refers to the special blue paint - a throwback to the original Audi RS2 Avant that kicked off the company's super sweet luxury offerings. Other unique features for the Nogaro car include gloss black exhaust outlets, window frames and grille surround, as well as matte black roof rails. Special 20-inch wheels round off the exterior enhancements, and inside, Nogaro Blue Alcantara accents can be had on the door panels and seat inners.
