2008 Audi A6 In Excellent Condition on 2040-cars
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
2008 Audi A6 This car is a very nicely maintained 2008 Audi A6. It has beautiful Dakar Beige Metallic paint with Cardamom Beige Leather interior. The Factory sticker was $53,105. We bought it from the original owner with approximately 27,000 miles on it. I have the original window sticker for the car and invoices for all of the service done on the vehicle (most done by an Audi dealer). No accidents or other significant issues. The car recently got four new Yokohama YK580 tires (about 7500 miles ago). It also got new rear brakes (rotors and pads) about 5000 miles ago. Oil changes have been dealer serviced approximately every 5000 miles (it is just coming due for an oil change). The car has been garage kept its whole life. The previous owner and ourselves are non-smokers and both the interior and the exterior are in very nice condition (see pics). The car has been professionally detailed at least once a year since we have owned it. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer used Audi A6. The car comes with all of the original Owner Handbooks and documentation as provided from the factory. Options include GPS Navigation, the Factory Premium Package (motorized sunroof, Heated Front Seats (Driver’s seat has memory adjustment function), Bi-Xenon Headlights, and a Bose Surround Sound stereo with MP3/CD changer and Sirius Satellite radio. The car also is equipped with the Factory Technology package which includes Rearview Camera and Backup Sensors, Power Tilt and Telescoping Steering Wheel, Voice Control, Universal Garage Door Opener, and Keyless Entry System. The car also has the S-Line exterior package (18 inch Sport Alloy Wheels) and leather interior package. This is a very nice car, but it is a USED car. It is sold as is where is with NO warranty,
NO guaranty or any other kind of ”–ty”.

Audi RS6 driven by former Stig Ben Collins egged on in 'The Duel'
Thu, 03 Oct 2013Apparently driving a 553-horsepower Audi RS6 Avant with carbon-fiber egg launchers that shoot paint-filled eggs is what Stigs do when they retire from Top Gear. And unfortunately for stuntman Damien Walters, he happens to be the target.
Walters - on foot with his paint-eggs and no carbon-fiber launcher - couldn't possibly escape from the Audi, let alone launch his own offensive, could he? You'll have to find out in the video below. And while we won't give away what happens, we'll say this video will definitely put a smile on your face, if you like all-wheel-drive drifting (which you should). We also included a couple more videos for your enjoyment, one of which takes you behind the scenes of The Duel.
Audi S3 pitted against BMW M135i in track battle
Fri, 07 Mar 2014Audi and BMW have long been enemies on both the road and the track, with their respective M and S/RS lines duking it out to the delight of auto enthusiasts everywhere. In this video from Evo, two of the rivalry's newest combatants take to the track - the Audi S3 and the BMW M135i.
The new Audi S3, which is finally coming to America, throws down with a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder. 290 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque are deployed to a Quattro all-wheel-drive system via a six-speed, S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission, allowing the five-door Audi to scamper to 60 in under five seconds.
The BMW, which Americans will know as a long-roof version of the new M235i Coupe, comes to the track with 320 ponies and 331 lb-ft of torque. That's a good bit more than the Audi, but the M135i has only two wheels to send its power to, an eight-speed single-clutch automatic (a six-speed manual is available) and a slightly higher curb weight.
Audi changes the guard at Quattro GmbH
Fri, 24 Jan 2014Although it may not have the brand recognition that Mercedes-AMG does or BMW's M division, Audi's Quattro GmbH department is responsible for its most exciting products - including the RS line of performance models and the R8 supercar. For the past year and a half, Quattro GmbH has been led by Franciscus van Meel, but soon it will get a new leader.
According to reports, van Meel (46, pictured right) is being reassigned to head up the Audi R&D center in Beijing. In his place, Audi is promoting Heinz Peter Hollwerweger (60, pictured above) to the post. The move is expected to be confirmed in advance of the Geneva Motor Show, at which point we can expect Audi to claim that it was part of a planned rotation. However sources suggest that van Meel's departure came at the behest of R&D boss Ulrich Hackenberg, who was apparently unhappy with how van Meel has been handling development of the next R8 and of the R8 E-Tron project.
Why Hackenberg would have van Meel reassigned to run one of his own R&D centers is beyond us, but Hollerweger is apparently expected to be able to get the job done faster and better. Whether he'll have any major changes in store for the Quattro division and its products is another matter, but we're looking forward to finding out.
