Um I purchased a 2008 535i from them car looked perfect, until I trade it in. The BMW dealership in Raleigh advised me the entire right side of the car was repainted. Took the car to carmax and they said the same thing. I`m sure they knew this but it didn`t show on the car fax report. My suggestion is to take the car to carmax before buying, to ensure the paint does not show retouching. I called and left message with... view more the team at Ivey Motors, no one returned my car. I took that as a lost, but will never purchase another vehicle from them. Better buy your car directly from the make dealer!

100% Satisified with Ivey Motorcars

Of all the vehicle purchases I`ve made in my life, this was the easiest, least stressful, most enjoyable experience I`ve ever had with a dealer. There wasn`t a single aspect of my transaction that I felt uncomfortable with or where I felt I was being mislead. I`d recommend Ivey Motorcars to anyone looking for a clean, pre-owned vehicle.

Reputable Pre-Owned Luxury Car Dealer

Hi, My name is Kevin Ivey. I would like to respond to the complaint from 6-11-2008. We have been operating a very reputable business for 15yrs in the Burlington area. We THRIVE on repeat buyers & referrals because we wouldn`t be the sucessful company that we are without our customers. This vehicle was sold to this couple on May,17 2008. We advertised this car on the web for sale because it was very rare, Had never b... view moreeen in an accident, only had 15k Miles with FULL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY w/ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE. But it was a smoker vehicle & WE DID NOT ADVERTISE this one to be a non-smoker. It also had a couple of scratches on the rear bumper. Otherwise, a perfect car. The couple had interest in the vehicle the day after it was live for sale on the web. We told the buyers that it was a nice car but was a prior smoker UP FRONT. They insisted on placing a deposit on this car right away because the vehicle is rare & pricing was lower than competive.They came the next day to see the car but before our detailing process was complete. We NEVER told them that their deposit was not refundable. We would have GLADLY refunded the deposit if they didn`t want the car. They WANTED THIS CAR!!! We told the buyers that we would attempt to remove the smoke odor, but it most cases this would only help, but can never be removed to our standards. They didn`t have to purchace this car. We even cut a check for $150.00 without them asking to perform Ozone smoke removal process in their home town, in which would have more than covered the cost. We felt that we did everything we could to completely satisfy the couple. They seemed to leave happy & then this pops up on the web. Our 1st in 15yrs. Thanks for Listening!!!

I had a great experience with Kevin Ivey - He was super knowledgable about his vehicles and very willing to get me information pertaining to warranties, etc. I also found him to be incredibly personable on the phone as an out-of-town shopper.

Don`t Buy From Ivey`s MotorCars! Burlington, NC

My husband and I have been looking for a certain car for over a year. We both searched on Auto Trader and local dealerships, when I found the car we had been looking for. I immediately contacted Kevin Ivey the owner of Ivey`s Motor Cars, he seemed very nice on the phone and the vehicle was everything we wanted. So my husband and I drove 2 hours to view the car. When speaking on the phone with Kevin he made it kno... view morewn that the vehicle was in the process of being detailed but we still wanted to see the car So we get to the dealership look at the vehicle and there are some minor and deep scratches, the car was also smoked in *note- the add in Auto Trader advertised it as non-smoking*, Kevin told my husband and I that they were going to do a treatment to the leather, headliner and carpets that would get the smoke smell out. He also showed us this 2006 Mercedes, told us how that looked when it came in and how it now looked almost new. He assured us our car would look like that. He stated many times ""he only sells cars on his lots that he would stand behind"". My husband and I being unsure about purchasing we decided to leave and think about it. A week goes by and with speaking to Kevin assuring us the car will be in perfect condition we decided to put a deposit on the car and take the trip out that Saturday. We finally get to see the car and wow it looked and smelled like it did when we first looked at it just washed and had a terrible wax job The scratches were still in the vehicle and it still smelled like smoke, he even took the car out back to try to get some scratches out (note we would loose our deposit if we didn`t purchase). So Kevin wrote us a check to have it re-detailed he gave us 150 which didn`t cover the cost. Worst of all we get home and the next day it wont start! He claims to have a 150 point inspection he did not even get our car serviced when he told us it was! The only reason we knew was from the Audi dealer. Dont buy from Kevin Ivey
