This place is good for simple things like oil changes and getting tires rotated. If you have a foreign car, or a problem with your car that is difficult to figure out, however, you will have better luck elsewhere. The people here are not intentionally trying to screw you out of money, but the mechanics do not have the experience necessary to take on difficult jobs. I must have brought the car in at least four times. The first time it worked for about two months. Then it wouldn`t start again. I brought it back, and they found another problem. Over the next month, they proceeded to "fix" the same part, and every time it would work for a few days to a week, and then stop. Instead of telling me they weren`t able to figure out what the issue was, they just kept replacing the same part. One time I went to pick up my "fixed" vehicle, and it wouldn`t even start from their shop. Again, I do not think that these are bad people, just not the right people to take a difficult job to. They were always very nice to me, but at the end of the day I am left more in debt and without a working vehicle.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK NEWARK CAR CARE AND COMMEND THEM FOR THEIR PROFESSIONAL AND QUICK SERVICE. MY VEHICLE WAS STUCK AT NEWARK AIRPORT AND AAA TOWED ME TO NEWARK CAR CARE. NOT ONLY DID THEY FIND OUT WHAT WAS WRONG WITH MY CAR BUT THEY FIXED IT THE SAME DAY WITH TIME TO SPARE.
