2004 Mazda Rx-8 With Low Miles, And Lots Of Extras! on 2040-cars
Torrance, California, United States
Thank you for taking a look at this beautiful RX-8. This car is in great shape and ready for the next owner to enjoy. I personally love the car and am only selling it because I have a company car now. This RX-8 is a really special car that looks and feels like a much more expensive sports car. You'll really feel like you're driving something that cost much much more.
This car still only has 69,xxx miles, amazing extras, and all the maintenance completed such as:
New Clutch ($1,500 value)
New Brakes and rotors ($1300 value)
New Tires ($600 value)
New Ignition coils and spark plugs ($600)
New oil change
This car also has a Carbon Fiber Hood that retails for over $1,500!
K&N performance intake kit that ads power and a cool sound when revved.
This car comes with all the factory extras:
navigation
leather interior
18 inch alloy wheels
heated seats
factory body kit
fog lamps
6 speed manual transmission
The engine runs great and there are no issues!
The interior is in perfect shape!
Like I said, this car is beautiful and ready to be driven as a daily driver. Hurry because I don't think this car will last long!
I still owe money on the car loan, so once payment is received, you may have the car and proof of registration, and I will send the pink slip in the mail as soon as the bank sends it to me.

2014 Mazda3 2.0L Hatchback officially rated at 40 mpg highway
Thu, 11 Jul 2013
The Environmental Protection Agency has spoken, and these are the miles per gallon numbers it has officially bestowed on the 2014 five-door Mazda3 hatchback with the SkyActiv-G 2.0-liter engine: 29 city, 40 highway, 33 combined when fitted with the six-speed manual; 30 city, 40 highway and 33 combined when equipped with the six-speed automatic.
Those numbers exactly match the fuel economy targets that Mazda had set for the car when optioned with the 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G with 155 horsepower and 150 pound-feet of torque. For comparison to other cars in the segment, the EPA numbers for the 2013 Honda Civic sedan are 28 city, 39 highway, 32 combined when its 140-hp, 1.8-liter four-cylinder is paired with the five-speed automatic. The Hyundai Elantra GT gets 27 city, 37 highway and 30 combined according to the EPA when its 148-hp, 1.8-liter four-cylinder is paired with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. The numbers for the 2014 Ford Focus aren't out yet.
2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata firsthand impressions and notebook scribblings
Thu, 04 Sep 2014In a temporarily repurposed airport hanger in Monterey, CA, the world caught its first glimpse of the 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata tonight, and I was fortunate enough to attend in person along with my fellow auto media colleagues, Mazda execs, a couple hundred Miata devotees and, oddly, a fair number of Duran Duran fans. The klieg lights have dimmed, Simon Le Bon is no longer ringing in my ears, and I'm left to ponder what I've seen. I've scavenged my notes - and my Twitter feed - to give you some details and brief thoughts.
Fair Warning: I can't claim to be completely impartial (I own a second-generation NB and consider the Miata franchise to be one of but a few sacrosanct franchises in modern motoring), but I will share my honest first impressions of the new car, both good and bad.
Here are my notes:
Mazda6 diesel to race at Rolex 24, team and drivers announced
Fri, 04 Jan 2013Mazda is getting serious about showing off the Skyactiv-D turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine in the Mazda6. The automaker has just announced it will campaign three diesel Mazda6 racers in the Grand-Am GX class of the upcoming 2013 Rolex 24 at Daytona in a quest to walk away with the company's 24th class win. Mazda partnered with SpeedSource to develop the race version of the new sedan, with Japanese and American engineers lending a helping hand where needed. Meanwhile, Freedom Autosport and Visit Florida Racing/SpeedSource/Yellow Dragon Racing will helm teams of their own.
Each car will make use of a five-driver team for the 24-hour race on January 26. In the interim, you can check out the full press release below for more information as well as the full driver roster. Mazda says we can expect to see the No. 70 SpeedSource car under the lights at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show later this month, as well.
