2005 V70 R, 300hp, AWD, auto, in black metallic with Gobi leather. 17" 'Pegasus' alloy wheels with recent Pirelli all weather tires, 100k miles, and prior to me (purchased in May '13) just 1 owner from new. This the 'facelift' 2005 model with revised interior and color coded exterior trim is sought over and above older 'R' cars.

The car is in great condition, has never been in a collision and I have just replaced the 4c front shocks and spring seats, plus a new key, fob and valet key with OEM all from the local dealer, Prestige Volvo for $1500. Nothing else is needing attention, no fault codes, 100% OEM and un-modified.

In terms of spec- it has a sunroof, reverse park sensors, OEM Bi-Xenon, 6 changer CD, climate, tow bar- the usual R standard goodies. Note- Recaro kids seats are staying with me :)

I am from the UK and have been driving manual cars for 20+ years so this is my first automatic- to be honest we haven't hit it off. My intention was was to buy this car and keep, so I looked for a good one for quite a while eventually finding this in PA about 3 months ago. That is the only reason I am selling a fantastic, rare and sought after car.

No lien, title in my hand. eBay's Auto Check shows lien for some reason, but this is not the case. I own it outright as stated on the title. This can be verified anyway you please, just ask.

Volvo S80 nip/tuck spotted in China

An early look at the new face of the Volvo S80 has made its way to the web. The Chinese site Auto Sina spotted a revised version of the country's S80L out in public and in plain view. Not too long ago, Doug Speck, the global head of marketing and sales for Volvo, said designers were working on a mild facelift for the S60 and S80, and while it is possible the Swedish manufacturer will roll out a different front fascia for the US market, the move seems unlikely.
The S80L seen here boats a tweaked grille and a Passat-inspired lower valance. New wheels and side-view mirrors also appear to be part of the update, as does a modified rear bumper and exhaust outlets. Volvo is set to debut the facelifed S80 next year, and while the manufacturer hasn't delivered an exact time frame, good money is on the vehicle showing up at the Detroit Auto Show in January or the Geneva Motor Show in March. Volvo updates Inscription packages for 2015 XC60, S80

Volvo is improving the luxury offered by the XC60 and S80 with upgrades to both models' Inscription packages for 2015. It is also making all of its models (other than the soon-to-be-replaced XC90) available with its new Drive-E engine family and Sensus infotainment system.
The Inscription package was previously available on both the XC60 and S80, but new upgrades include Sovereign Hide leather throughout their interiors, including on their instrument panels, seatbacks, center armrests and headrests. Inscription also adds wood inlaid trim and new floor mats. On the outside, the package is offered in Crystal White Pearl, Electric Silver and - exclusively for the S80 - Ember Black. The XC60 comes with 20-inch, ten-spoke wheels, and the S80 receives 19-inch wheels of the same design.
As part of its sponsorship of a yacht race, Volvo is also bringing the XC60 Ocean Race Edition to the US. Buyers will get their choice of black or blonde leather seats with orange stitching, a map of the race route on the rear load cover and the event's logo around the car.

Jeremy Lin rose to prominence as a point guard for the New York Knicks in February of 2012 when he came out of nowhere to lead the team to a string of victories. Volvo was quick to notice and signed him as the company's US spokesperson that March. Since then, he has starred in several Volvo advertisements, and his latest ad shows just how he uses his Volvo XC60 to train for the court. The highlight is Lin shooting free throws out of the sunroof.
Since leaving the Knicks, Lin has lost some of the visibility and hype that attracted Volvo to him in the first place. Still, commercials must be made, so check out Lin's latest below.
