"If you want a beautiful, fully restored British icon, for a great price, this is it !
Ready to Drive, Show or just Admire."

NEW Pimento Red paint, NEW Interior, NEW Top & Boot, NEW Tires, NEW Wheels, etc, etc

History: 13 year restoration project completed July 2014.  Original restorer was a British car mechanic.  He lived in KS City, KS and bought most of the parts (including correct nuts and bolts) from Victoria British in KS City.  He took ill and could not complete.  I bought the car to finish the restoration.  My experience includes GT6, MGB, Series Land Rovers (4), D110, D90, G230 and classic RR.  Most were UK imports and all had some level of restoration.

The original restorer completed 90% of the work including: frame off, nut and bolt restoration, engine and transmission overhaul, wiring harness, muffler system, interior,  There are new parts throughout the car, everything under the hood looks new.  When I took the car, he had $8800 in it, not including the car and engine overhaul.  Many of the replaced parts come with the car, including rims, center caps and trim rings.  Many replaced parts are in labeled zip lock bags (that's how through he was!).  Milaege is unknown.  I replaced a non working speedo with 88K with a 58K unit.  Mileage since the start of the restoration < 100 miles.  Since beginning of restoration, never rained on or driven in the wet.  Includes new all weather car cover.

When I got the car, I added a new top, boot, tires, wheels, seatbelts, sun visors, trunk cards, paint, service books (7) and many smaller items.  Items I am working on now which may or may not be completed upon sale are; boot lock (new lock and keys), glove box lock (new lock and keys), fuel gauge hook up, passenger seat head restraint adjustment.  There are no keys for the door locks so that will need to be replaced.

For overseas buyers, the "Tennessee TR6" plate comes with the car and I will deliver to the Charlotte SC port for $500.

Happy to take pictures of any part of the car, just let me know.

Includes all receipts since I purchased the car.  Most parts bought from Victoria British, Moss and TRW.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
