Thanks for looking at my Triumph TR6, this is a 1973 with a 4 speed manual transmission and has a soft top and original hardtop, car cover , boot cover. I bought this car a year ago as a birthday gift to myself. I have always wanted one and after having it, it is more fun than I expected. I do not want to sell it, but I did not get to use it like I wanted to and hate to see it sitting. I will try to describe to the best I can, please ask any questions before bidding.

This car I believe was restored around 2004 by someone in the Richmond Va. Area. I have a box that came with the car that has a lot of records and receipt, have not had time to look through them. I have driven the car about 2000 miles, it was Maryland inspected and only needed the rear shocks replaced and wiper blades. I have not found any rust on car, around the bottom I see some surface rust where paint has chipped off, floorboards look great, see pics. The car does leave oil on garage floor, few drops here and there. The fuel gauge works, but last owner said not to trust it, use the trip meter. The longest trip I took was about 400 mile round trip, car ran excellent, that was end of May. The clutch seems very stiff, but have been told it is just fine, car shifts as it should, starts every time. I have not started car in 4 weeks and it started right up.  Oil was changed in April, and it has a spin on filter.

Appearance I believe is excellent, but not a perfect show car. The paint is very nice, with a few imperfections here and there. I tried to get pictures of a few spots, the passenger door open and closes but at some point has been opened to far and there is a crease, very hard to see, but makes door not open like new. The last time I took out for a drive, heard noise coming from trunk on rough road, I was told bushings, but do not know. Top has no tears or rips, all snaps are good, except the one inside that I broke, see in pics. The hardtop appears to have original lining inside , white. The dash looks to be original, I was planning on replacing or refinishing. The door handle popped out last drive I had, look at pic, I just never got to fix it yet. This car needs a home where someone has time for it, it's too nice to be sitting undercover in my garage. Cover has rips in corners.

I want the new owner to be as happy as I am, and not have any surprises. Please ask questions, or for more photos. The car is tagged and insured, so if you are close please come by to see it. This car is being sold as is.

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack

Sun, 21 Sep 2014

Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.
