Up for sale is my 1993.5 Toyota Supra NA which has been converted to a Turbo with a NA-T. The car is a clean title! The car is in overall good shape and has a ton of upgrades including the following:

-Turbo kit w/ front mount intercooler
-HKS Blow off valve
-3" custom exhaust
-Custom 18" wheels
-Turbo & AFR dual gauges
-Indash DVD player w/ bazooka bass tube
-Precision 2800 stall torque converter
-Transmission upgraded to A340E for the extra clutch packs to hold the power (TT transmission) with A340 internals so you can still operate off line pressure and not electronically controlled like the TT is. The transmission needs some adjustment but it shifts nice and firm
-Apex'i SAFC - You will need to get the car professionally tuned. This will help you get the desired AFR's but it is highly recommended you get a professional tune

Interior is in good shape, one small tear in the drivers seat (Please see pics). Exterior is in decent shape but could use a polish. One small blemish on the drivers front fender in the clear coat (pictured). Also I will be including a Wings West front lip spoiler and including the original rear wing and a TRD replica rear wing with the sale. No wing is currently mounted however the holes are there for mounting.

Buyer is responsible for any and all smog and safety inspections. Car is being sold with a clean California title however it is currently on Non-Op status as I planned on upgrading the car but never got around to it.

Will Toyota lose up to 70% of its workforce in TX relocation?

Toyota's decision to move its US headquarters from its longtime home in Torrance, CA, to Plano, TX, was one of the biggest stories in the automotive industry this spring. With several months since the announcement, more details about the plan have leaked out. It seems that pulling up stakes could mean an even larger shakeup in the Toyota workforce than first thought.
According to Automotive News, Toyota intends to hang onto around 50 percent of its workforce in the move to the Lone Star State. However, even that figure might be optimistic. According to an unnamed insider speaking to AN, there is a fear the actual number could be closer to 30 percent. For comparison, Nissan retained about 42 percent of its workers in its move from California to Tennessee.
The actual percentage making the move is a mystery because Toyota is still rewriting its job descriptions under a single set of guidelines. The changes affect benefits, bonuses and the reporting structure, according to Automotive News, and employees' reactions could play a big role in who decides to go. According to an unnamed worker speaking to AN, the wait is hurting morale. Some people are even applying at the nearby Honda headquarters.

Toyota announces GT86 CS-R3 rally car

Toyota Motorsport GmbH has developed cars for all manner of racing, up to and including Formula One and Le Mans. But it got its start back in 1979 in rally competition, winning four drivers' and three manufacturers' titles in the World Rally Championship. And now it's announced a new rally car.
Based on the Toyota GT86 (better known to us as the Scion FR-S), the CS-R3 rally car isn't built to contest the top tier of the WRC, but is being developed to conform to the lower R3 class. That means a six-speed sequential gearbox, limited slip differential and upgraded engine, brakes, aero... the works. It'll retain the road-going model's rear-drive setup, joining the front-drive Yaris R1A in TMG's portfolio of customer rally cars.
Further details are set to be revealed "in the coming months", but the GT86 CS-R3 will benefit from the experience TMG accrued in developing the GT86 CS-V3 (pictured above) for the Nürburgring-based VLN endurance racing series.

Unifor may establish local union for Toyota's Canadian plants

Union tactics apparently translate across borders, as Canada's Unifor may take inspiration from the United Auto Workers' recent move at the Volkswagen factory in Chattanooga, TN, and establish a local for the Toyota factories in Cambridge and Woodstock.
Unifor last attempted to organize the workers at the two factories, which are responsible for production of the Toyota Corolla (above), RAV4 and Lexus RX back in April, but that vote was eventually delayed. According to that report, 3,000 of the two plants' 7,500 employees signed union cards, but that apparently wasn't enough for Unifor to force a vote.
Because of this, the union is looking at the local approach, like what the UAW is attempting with VW.
