2006 Toyota Prius 4 door hatchback, new HV battery, new touch screen, new tires, image 1

This is a 2006 Toyota Prius, with 161,000 miles, back up camera, cloth interior, fairly clean, not the slickest one ive ever seen but not a rats nest either   I do have car fax as well. Im the second or 3 rd owner of the car.  To my knowledge it has never been in an accident.  The car is fairly clean, id give it a 7 on a 10 scale.  Brand new tires.  Brand new HV battery.  Brand new touch screen.  Ive owned the car nearly two years and have enjoyed it but now i need a truck.  The only issues i know wrong with the car is there is a dent/hole in the rear bumper cover where someone apparently backed into a trailer hitch tongue.  Its not real bad, could probaly be completly covered with a bumper sticker.  The rear bumper cover has about 5 or six screws ran into it to hold the bumper cover on instead of the factory plasic clips on the inside that are invisable.  You can see these screw heads on the rear bumper cover.  There is some areas of the interior that looked rubbed but not unusual for  a vehicle that is used.  The driver seat has one spot where the bottom and top cushions meet that the stiches have come loose at the seam so there is a 3 inch "tear" there.  Could easily be stiched back up.  As far as running and driving the car runs and drives perfect without any issues whatsoever.  A/C freezes you out and heater works great, radio and display all perfect.  All power windows and power doorlocks perfect.Feel free to call or email me and i will tell you everything i know, i want to be completly up front and honest with you because i want you to be HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY. 501-230- nine 5 one six

Toyota Sienna Swagger Wagon rides again with Busta Rhymes

Mon, 04 Aug 2014

Let's face it: there are few things less "gangsta" than a minivan (which goes a long way towards explaining why crossovers have been gradually taking their place as the family-hauler of choice across America, but we digress). The point here is not lost on Toyota, which has embraced the uncool image of the minivan with the Swagger Wagon campaign.
We first saw the suburban-goes-urban campaign pop up with the introduction of the new Sienna back in 2010. And now that the Sienna's been updated for 2015, the campaign is back again, featuring none other than Trevor Tahiem Smith, Jr. himself... better known to most as Busta Rhymes. The decidedly white-bread video spot that follows may make you cringe, but you've got to admit that it's well done, even if it doesn't have the charm and freshness of the original.

Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013

Sun, 15 Sep 2013

When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.

Toyota must go to trial over unintended acceleration suits

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

Toyota is surely readying its trial lawyers, as the Japanese giant is officially headed to court in a pair of cases relating to its unintended acceleration fiascos of 2009 and 2010.
In the first case, the United States Supreme Court has actually got involved in matters, ignoring an appeal from Toyota that attempted to use an arbitrator to settle its California lawsuits. The automaker will now go to trial to face owners of 2010 Prius models over an alleged defect with the anti-lock braking systems, which plaintiffs say made the cars more difficult to stop, according to Bloomberg.
The second trial is a bit more in depth, covering the case of Ida St. John, an 83-year-old from Georgia, that crashed her 2005 Camry in 2009. The accident is believed to have played a part in her death, although the suit, being filed by her grandson, doesn't actually place blame on Toyota for her death.
