Here is the story. This Camry was a Jtek Automotive company car driven by my mother. She then purchased the car from the company she worked for. It has been rediculously maintained. All oil changes within 3-4 k miles. All required factory stuff, timing chain, and a buch of other stuff my mom had the toyota place do. Unfortunatley my mother passed away. I have driven the car for the past 3 years. 90 percent of the miles are interstate miles back and forth from plant to plant and work. This car is amazing. It drives so perfect, runs like a top. It has no issues at all. I would be completely suprised if it did not run another 300k miles. Its a great car. I hate to sell it, but I have to. I am very sad about it. If you have not driven one you will be amazed the power this 4 cylinder put out. Please do your homework these cars are the most perfect vehicle made. Gas mileage is awesome. You will be so happy with it. I have not had time to clean it like it should be. After a detailing it will look brand new. The only issue is the back two speaker covers have been eaten by the sun. I has a great stereo system and sounds perfect, however the rear 2 speaker covers need replaced. No other sun damage anywhere.

Toyota vows to fix poor Camry crash test result that irked Consumer Reports
Tue, 10 Dec 2013Many Toyota vehicles haven't been performing well in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's (IIHS) small overlap frontal crash test, and the Camry is one of them. The 2012 and 2013 Camry both received "Poor" ratings, IIHS' lowest rating, in the test, which spurred Consumer Reports to take the car off its "Recommended" list. In response to the low ratings in the small overlap frontal test, and in a bid to maintain its best-seller status, Toyota will make changes to the Camry to improve its IIHS safety rating and to enhance its design, The Detroit News reports.
The Camry performed well in the moderate overlap frontal, side, roof strength and head restraints and seats crash tests, receiving "Good" ratings, IIHS' highest rating, in all four tests. That was enough for IIHS to award it a Top Safety Pick rating, just not TSP+.
Bill Fay, head of Toyota's US division, reportedly says, "It's still a five-star car. It still does very well in all the IIHS tests. It did not in [the small overlap frontal crash test], and we're busy making the necessary adjustments so that we can address that."
Toyota Matrix discontinued for 2014
Mon, 05 Aug 2013Between its slow sales and the upcoming redesign of the closely related Corolla sedan, things haven't been looking good for the Toyota Matrix (for some time now). After 10 years on the market, Toyota has officially announced that it will drop the Matrix from its US lineup following the 2013 model year.
The announcement was made as a part of a press release breaking down what's new for Toyota in 2014, but for now, it doesn't look like any Toyota-branded product will fill the Matrix's spot. The Matrix and its sister car, the defunct Pontiac Vibe, were the final vehicles developed under the joint venture between Toyota and General Motors, an arrangement launched back to 1984.
Toyota updates Euro-market GT86 suspension, appearance
Thu, 24 Apr 2014While we were busy ogling the Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0 with its Yuzu yellow paint and a workover by Toyota Racing Development, and the Japanese Toyota 86 buyers were trying out their Playstation-compatible Sports Drive Logger telemetry system, the European 2015 Toyota GT86 got fitted with some new parts of its own. New on next year's model are stiffer mounts for the front suspension and rear shock absorbers, and new shocks in the back for better damping and less friction. Toyota says the result is sharper steering and less body roll.
Inside, the instrument panel and center console get decorated with a "carbon-fiber motif." There are new shades of pearl white and silver to dress up the outside, and the roof gets a shark-fin antenna for sharper looks and aero. It goes on sale this summer, and you can read everything we just told you in the press release below. We've reached out to Scion to see if we'll get the same upgrades on the FR-S this summer, too, company PR rep Nancy Hubbell telling us, "The European changes are among those being considered for the US model FR-S and we'll have final confirmation soon."
