1993 4Runner. Runs fine. I drive it every day back and forth to work (17 miles each way) and use it to go to town quite often, which is 20-40 miles each way depending on which town I go to. I just had it serviced less than 2 weeks ago. Oil and filter, lube, etc. Cold a/c, needs heater core. Heater is bypassed right now. Has rear a/c controls also. It just hit 220,000 miles today on the way home from town. I drive it all the time. As I write this, it has 220,001 miles on it. With me continuing to drive it until sold, I would expect it to have an additional 500 or so miles on it soon. I just don't want someone to say I wasn't honest about the mileage. I do drive it. Why wouldn't I? Has cruise control but it won't engage. I have the owners manual. It is a 5 passenger, and I have 3 kids now and one coming in September, so wife is screaming for a mini-van. (goodbye man card...) I have a video of it running. It took it with my iPhone, but I cannot figure out how to load it on here, and my email says it is too large to send. If someone can figure out how to send it, I will gladly do so. It runs well, and I would be very happy to show the video to anyone that wishes to see it. If you can come drive it, please do. I am confident you would be satisfied with it. Some of the pictures look "wavy." I think that is due to the 100+ degree Texas heat and the fact that I took the pictures with an iPhone 3. The car is straight, not all wavy like a potato chip. I have no way to ship it. Buyer is responsible for that part. It can be picked up as soon as funds are 100% free and clear. I have the clear title, of course. Email with any questions. I will respond as soon as possible. I will follow all of eBay's selling rules at all times. I would entertain a trade if eBay allows it. I just honestly do not know how that works. If you look, you will notice I have a 100% positive feedback score, and I intend to keep it that way always. I will not lie nor hide anything about this 4Runner. If you ask, I will tell you the answer honestly. Period.

Redesigned 2014 Toyota Tundra spied testing in Canada
Tue, 29 Jan 2013When Toyota first announced that it would be bringing the 2014 Tundra pickup to next month's Chicago Auto Show, we weren't quite sure if the truck would fall into the "all-new" or "refreshed" category. After seeing this latest set of spy shots, we're striking "all-new" from the record, but the enhancements do appear to be more than just a simple nip/tuck.
While the overall shape and greenhouse haven't really changed, heavy cladding found on the front fascia suggests that a totally redesigned nose is in store, with a fully reworked grille flanked by new headlamps. Smaller styling details are hidden by the big panels of camouflage, but we anticipate a few minor tweaks to the rest of the pickup's design when all that black tape finally comes off.
Mum's the word on powertrain enhancements (if any), as well as any changes that have been made to the chassis. But with the updated 2013 Ram 1500 already on the street, the recent unveiling of the updated 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra twins, and a preview of what's to come from the likes of Ford, we certainly hope Toyota has injected enough new blood into its 2014 model year pickup to keep it competitive in this American-dominated segment. We'll know for sure come Chicago.
Car thief caught in McDonald's drive-thru after placing order with owner
Mon, 20 May 2013If you're going to drive a stolen car in a town of roughly 77,000 people - about the same size as Scranton, Pennsylvania or Ogden, Utah - you want to be very careful about where you drive that stolen car to eat. That's the lesson Katherine York of Kennewick, Washington learned when she was arrested for being in possession of a stolen Toyota 4Runner that also happened to have a bunch of stolen clothes from JC Penney and Sears in it.
Virginia Maiden woke up Tuesday, May 14 to find her 1995 4Runner - that she thought she forgot to lock - swiped from her apartment building. At 3 PM that afternoon, while working her shift at the drive-thru at McDonald's that day, she saw her truck in line. York hadn't even gone far - the McDonald's is not even five miles from Maiden's apartment. Maiden called the police, they showed up just as York was leaving, and York made another vehicle switch, this time into a black-and-white for a trip to the Benton County jail. They don't have McDonald's there, but she won't have so far to go to eat.
Toyota's Euro Aygo spied in prototype form
Thu, 22 Aug 2013The five-door version of the next-generation Toyota Aygo, a Euro offering cloned by the Peugeot 107 and Citroën C1, has been caught out on the town wearing all black. Facelifted early last year, predictions are that the next version of the city car will be slightly lower and wider than the current car, with improved ergonomics and materials. Based on what little can be seen for now, a new intake and headlight treatment should be on the menu in front, with taillights placed higher on its backside.
A three-door version is expected, but a gasoline-hybrid model is also rumored, along with power and fuel economy improvements to the three-cylinder engine that presently puts out 67 horsepower and 69 pound-feet of torque.
We should see it next year, along with the new Citroën C1 and Peugeot 108.
