A very rare Short wheelbase 1966 Porsche 911 that still has its originality that just came back to life after 20
years of storage. It has a matching rebuilt engine and transmission that has less than 200 miles on it. Went
through all other mechanical and replaced or repaired as needed (New brake pads, rebuilt brake calipers, new brake
lines, new gas lines, removed and clean gas tank, new shocks, new 5 tires etc.) Solid metal. There are door
dings, scratches and dents due to the age of the car so if you want a restored 1966 than this is not the one for
you. How many of these are still around? Not too many. The car comes with partial original tool kit,
owner’s manual and Certificate of Authenticity.

CEO says Volkswagen's buying spree is over

After adding Italian motorcycle icon Ducati to its stable and spending $5.6 billion on the rest of Porsche, Volkswagen CEO Martin Winterkorn says he's done shopping for a while.
"We have enough to do at the moment in taking our twelve brands to where we want to be," Winterkorn tells German newspaper Handelsblatt.
Former Porsche CEO Wiedeking indicted over VW takeover bid
Thu, 20 Dec 2012Do you recall the failed efforts by Porsche to take over Volkswagen? According to a Bloomberg report, former Porsche CEO Wendelin Wiedeking (above) and ex-CFO Holger Haerter have finally been charged with market manipulation over the exercising of options as part of the German sportscar manufacturer's ill-fated attempt to take over the much larger VW. That failed bid eventually resulted in the reverse coming true - VW swallowing Porsche.
The charges leveled by Stuttgart prosecutors come after a three-year investigation centered around allegations that Porsche execs made a concerted effort to increase the company's share in VW to 75 percent in preparation for a hostile takeover. Porsche had previously told its investors on at least five occasions that it had no intention to buy VW.
Portions of the investigation have subsided, according to prosecutors, citing an inability to prove certain improprieties with a "necessary degree of certainty." The number of charges is down to 5 from a previous 14 counts regarding "information-based market manipulation."
