Up for sale is a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am LS1 car. The mileage is 136k and is a 1 Owner car bought here in South Florida. Car is 100% RUST FREE. Autocheck is available and I can send it if your interested. NO ACCIDENTS!!!!!!!!!

The car is Auto with T-Tops and grey leather interior. T-Tops do not leak. The car runs and drives Great and has plenty of power obviously powered by the famous LS1 engine. The motor runs great and has no leaks and smoke at all the motor is very Healthy.

The transmission is in awesome shape and shifts very nice and firm the shift kit really made a difference. Crusing speed the Trans shifts nice and smooth very nice to drive.

The brakes work fine and stop the car great. There are slotted and drilled rotors also to help with stopping. Car has been sitting and not been driven so pads could use a light sanding.

The exterior is in good shape with good paint that still shines pretty well. There are a few dings and scratches but nothing unexpected for an older car. The car could use a nice detail the car would shine very nice with a proper detail. 3rd brake light is chipped at the very edge of the corner but works just fine. 1 Center cap missing as well believe the wheels are American racing. Back bumper has some fading as well.

The interior is in ok shape for its age and being a daily driver with having the usual scratches and stains. The upper dash is cracked and was replaced with a fitted carpet cover I think it looks much better than having the broken plastic dash piece still visible. The dash cracking is a very common thing in these cars. There is 1 A/C knob missing but it is interchangeable with the other so it does not affect the A/C at all.

The car is bone stock with only modifications being a full Magnaflow exhaust which is not loud and sounds great. There is also a Bass Tube in the trunk which is usually turned off but does have some good bass to it if you like that.

Little history on the car it was sold by Maroone Chevy in Pembroke Pines and they sold it as a 30th Anniversary Model. It is not a 30th Anniversary model obviously but i have never seen one sold like this with all decals inside and out and not being a real 30th. I think it is quite rare and even to this day Ive never seen another like it.

I have atleast $5000 in reciepts for regular preventive service in the last 30k miles. As well as other work that has been done as well.

Howard Stern latest in Seinfeld's passenger seat for CiCGC

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

We'll be honest: the actual cars in Jerry Seinfeld's hit internet series, Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee, typically take a back seat to the celebrities in the front row. Seinfeld usually throws in a few lines about his classic wheels in the first minute or so, and then moves on to the important business of sprightly conversation and pithy one-liners. It's great.
This time around, with legendary motormouth Howard Stern riding shotgun, the 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge that might have been a co-star, gets forgotten about almost completely. Instead, Stern spends a tremendous amount of screen time extolling the virtues of his therapy sessions, attempts to dive into Seinfeld's prowess as a lover and generally makes a nuisance of himself. Pretty much to plan, then.
Scroll below to hear Howard accuse Jerry of acting like Jesus, just before declaring himself the greatest radio personality in the history of the business.

2008-2009 Pontiac G8 recalled over airbag concern

Mon, 07 Nov 2011

General Motors is recalling around 38,000 Pontiac G8 sedans from its 2008 and 2009 model years. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that the cars may have a passenger-side airbag flaw that might prevent proper deployment in certain scenarios.
According to NHTSA, the airbag might not adequately protect a fifth percentile woman - that is, a woman around four-foot, 11-inches weighing 108 pounds. The New York Times indicates that the anomaly was found during a crash test conducted by GM's Australian branch, Holden, which was testing the G8's twin (read: Commodore) for head injuries. According to that report, the test in question is specifically tailored to simulate injuries to females, so the results do not apply to men or children.
The issue has been blamed on a seat position sensor that governs airbag deployment rates. NHTSA indicates that when the front passenger seat is moved all the way forward, the faulty sensor may inappropriately trigger a 30-millisecond delay between airbag stages, potentially leading to greater injuries.

1939 Pontiac Ghost Car commands $308,000 at auction

Mon, 01 Aug 2011

For the 1939 World's Fair, Pontiac built a Deluxe Six bodied in Plexiglass. Part of the Previews of Progress pavilion in which General Motors' Futurama showed off what was to come in the world of autos, the 'invisible' Pontiac is credited as the first transparent car in America. And there were no shortcuts taken with its body: the Plexiglass form was fabricated by the company that brought the material to market in 1933, Rohm & Haas.
The see-through sedan was sold at RM Auctions' St. John's auction in Michigan on July 30, fetching $308,000. Not bad appreciation for a domestic oddity that cost $25,000 to build when new. You can check out the high-res gallery of its innards, including copper and chrome metalwork and white moldings and wheels, and get the exhaustive details on it after the jump.
