Selling my 1965 Pontiac Tempest! This is a project car I started a few years ago with big plans, but plans changed (wife/kids) now is this is your opportunity to complete it the way you want it done.
The front clip is currently of the car, so is the 326 V8 original engine I have it sitting in an engine stand in the garage. When I took it off a few years ago it was running perfectly fine, it probably needs a good tune up to get it going. I have everything you need to put this car back together with the exception of the gas tank, gas lines, and radiator.
As you can see from the pictures the car has a completely new suspension and brakes and is lowered 3 inches in the front and one inch from the back.
New (purchased 6 years ago but never used) Boyd 17" Aluminum Wheels with brand new 225/45/17 up front and 245/45/17 out back.
The car has too many parts to list.
The car is not assembled (see photos) and is not running. You will need to bring a tow truck or trailer to pick it up. I have all the parts ready to rebuild, just do not have the time.
The car can been see by appointment only and is located on Corona CA.
I will not ship the car, i am looking for a local buyer in Southern California that will pick up the car.
I have the title, so if you have the cash, lets talk.
!!!NO RESERVE!!!

Wanted: 1967 Pontiac GTO for a special Father's Day
Thu, 07 Jun 2012Jim Sharp of Elkhorn, Wisconsin needs a red 1967 Pontiac GTO to make his dad's Father's Day, possibly his last one, something extra special.
Back in the '60s, Jim's dad, Ken, drove a cherry red 1967 GTO to California for a job. He met a girl, got married and decided his wife's 1965 Ford Mustang was more fuel efficient than the Goat and the GTO was sold. As the story almost always goes, Ken has had seller's regret ever since.
Jim always meant to find a 1967 GTO and, with his dad's help, restore it. But life got in the way, time slipped by and Ken was recently diagnosed with esophageal cancer and given about three months to live.
Check out the official 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition commercial
Sat, 16 Mar 2013
The Poncho is dead. Long live the Poncho. Like certain other reoccurring personal maladies, the aftermarket community simply can't let the Trans Am go without another flare up. The guys at Trans Am Depot have worked up a quick commercial for their newest creation: The 2013 Trans Am Hurst Edition, and it watches pretty much like you'd expect it to. The footage is comprised of just about every TA male fantasy you can conceive of, from Daisy Dukes and white tank tops to tramp stamps, bikinis and ice cream cones. There simply aren't words for what you'll see below.
Of course, we like our T-Tops as much as the next guy. If you like what you see in the videos, you can pick up your very own TA by heading over to the Trans Am Depot site. The guys even have Chevrolet Camaro-based versions of the Pontiac GTO if the '77 TA treatment is too much for your tastes. Enjoy, but don't say we didn't warn you.
GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
