2007 Mercury Gran Marquis LS. I am the 2nd owner. Car only has 46432 miles and all required maintenance has been performed on scheduled. Sapphire Blue with light gray interior, New Yokahama Tires were installed last summer. Car has AM/FM/CD, heated rear window and electric heated mirrors, tinted windows, dual power front seats, leather seats, external sirius radio mounted (Sirius Head optional), upgraded speakers, factory floor mats, door access key pad on door, 2 key entry remotes, factory home entry package, digital information display panel, overhead compass, head light off delay, true dual exhaust, 25mpg in and around mileage. Must see, this has been our family car for many years and has been well cared of. You will not find many like this one. I still have a TN phone but live in Little Rock area.

Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

NHTSA closes rollaway investigation into 1.56M Ford SUVs
Mon, 11 Mar 2013It's taken four years of study, but the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has finally closed the books on its investigation into rollaway accusations surrounding 1.56-million Ford SUV models.
The probe, which centered on the 2002-2005 Ford Explorer, 2002-2005 Mercury Mountaineer and 2003-2005 Lincoln Aviator, ends without the federal agency calling for a recall. According to The Detroit News, the investigation was closed due to a "low number of complaints" - NHTSA documented 180 such complaints that resulted in 14 crashes and six minor injuries, but the number of incidents have been slowing. The suspected defect rate for the trucks' automatic transmissions was found to be 4.4 per 100,000 units, and the brake-shift interlock mechanism failure rate was judged to be even lower at 3.4 per 100k.
