Mercedes Benz E320 4 Door on 2040-cars
Brick, New Jersey, United States
My car has been dealer maintained since new using only genuine Mercedes parts. Synthetic Mobil 1 oil and new filter every 5000 miles. Never in an accident. Clean bill of health from the local Mercedes Benz dealer on 10/3/2013 when it went in for its 115k service. Goodyear Assurance Comfort Touring All Season tires with 8mm of tread left (like new) Factory Mercedes roof rack system ($700) with bike rack. 3M tinted glass. Genuine Mercedes Designo wooden steering wheel ($900.)
I am getting some questions about the tinted windows they were professionally done but a custom shop that specializes in high line cars. The shade of tint is very light I forget what the percent it is but I wanted the lightest as possible. The manufacture of the tint was 3M making it very clear to see through it. It was $420.00 to get done. This car was my fathers before mine and he drives 160miles round trip to work. That is where most of miles came from. I am 37 year old and come from a family that drives nothing but Bmw & Mercedes since I was born the car is a amazing and super clean and washed weekly no matters if it needs or not. Only reason I am selling because I have my eye on a CLK convertible. |

Twin-turbo Cadillac CTS coming
13-year-old boy swipes dad's Mercedes, drives across Europe
Wed, 16 Jan 2013After an argument with his adoptive parents that resulted in them taking away his mobile phone, an angry 13-year-old boy ran away from his home in Italy and headed straight to Poland to meet his biological sister. But instead of taking the train or hitching a ride, like most on the run, the young man (an accomplished go-kart racer and car enthusiast) grabbed the keys to his father's Mercedes-Benz and jumped behind the wheel for an impromptu road trip.
With less than 200 euros (about $270) in his wallet and a passport in his pocket, the youngster managed to put more than 500 miles between himself and his distraught parents, crossing two international borders in the process, before German police nabbed him just shy of the Polish border. According to reports, the vehicle was tracked - it wasn't his driving that alerted authorities to his location.
Reunited with his mother and father, who traveled to Germany to retrieve both their son and the vehicle, the young man apologized and acknowledged his error. As a result of his actions, social workers will increase checks on the family and we can be sure his parents are now hiding the keys.
2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class caught totally undisguised
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Based on the lightly camouflaged spy shots of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-Class we've seen lately, it hasn't taken a vivid imagination to picture what the next iteration of this big luxury sedan will look like. Even so, we now we have our first unobstructed views of the redesigned S-Class, codenamed W222, as it has just been caught out flaunting for some promo shots.
The first thing we notice about the new S-Class design is the disappearance of the last generation's flared wheel arches. Yet the new design adds even more character with bodyside creases similar to the CLS-Class and some elements reminiscent of 2007's F700 Concept, including the massive grille and vertical LED taillights. Other key details include a large panoramic roof and the narrow exhaust outlets, but the large LED-trimmed headlights and the aggressive front fascia are probably the biggest departure from the current design. With these spy shots, we also catch a blurry shot of the interior, but we've seen a practically uncovered look at the new S-Class' cabin back in January.
Overall, the next S-Class sports an expressive and premium new look, but as far as all-new designs go, it's quite conservative - a move no doubt fitting for these lean financial times.
