Beautiful 1957 220s Mercedes Ponton on 2040-cars

This is a 1957 220S Mercedes Ponton owned by one family until I bought it four years ago, garage since. The only reason the car was sold to me was because the great grandson of the original owner prefer a ford mustang instead of his parents promising to fully restore the Mercedes for him. When I bought the car, I was promise the car was in good condition, which was very true.  All I did was purchased a new battery, clean the gas tank, change the spark plugs, oil, new tires with atlas 13” white port-A-walls and fuel  it and she started right up, no smoke from the tail pipe what so ever. Currently register in California till 4/24/2014. Fully insured with AAA!

Car runs good. Paint is between fair and good but new paint will make it really nice. Some detail work will definitely bring the paint out. Good condition for its age, very clean and shows okay.  Chrome is in good shape with little to no dents. 

Interior shows really well with viewer’s perception, wood have been refinished to a deep gloss. The gauges are working, as lights and turning signals. Wipers are there but not working.  Seats and door panels are all in good shape; Head liner is in fair condition, driver seat stitching started to come apart in one small area about an inch and a half.  All interior chrome is in good condition.  Clock is not working at this time. Radio is not working too.

I have really enjoyed this beautiful car for the past four years. Everywhere I go, I get outstanding compliments. Now is time for the Mercedes purest turn to secure this car and preserve its value and dignity. Buy it and drive home!!!

Terms: $1,000 due 24 hrs. After auction ends via Pay-pal, balance to be due in full 7 after auction ends via bank wire transfer, or cash in person and cashier’s check. Personal check will be accepted but funds must clear before I will release the car and title.
