We understand
that buying a vehicle online can sometimes leave you un-easy. We are aware that

They might leave important information out, or not have a thorough description
of that item. Our goal is
simple. Word of mouth and return business is something we take very serious! We
achieve this by providing you with all of the information YOU need to make a
comfortable decision, and hopefully proceeding to your investment, a vehicle! We

definitely don’t want to mislead you. This is why we inform you of EVERYTHING
we know, and provide you with detailed descriptions and conditions of the item
for sale. This is a 2003 KIA Sorento EX 4 Wheel Drive for NO RESERVE. This highest bid is going to own this vehicle! This is a great SUV for anyone. Its size is easy to drive and handle and parking this small SUV is not an issue. There is plenty of cargo and passenger room. This would also be great for pet owners! INTERIOR:
The black leather is still soft and supple to the touch and just looks great!
The driver seat has the only flaw that I have noticed; there is a small cut/tare
on the bottom panel. The radio works great and sounds good. The windows work
and also the heat is hot, the a/c blows cold! The sunroof is a nice feature,
works great with the black interior! I did not notice any offensive odors and
did not see any stains. The rear seats fold down for even more cargo room is
needed! EXTERIOR: The tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left as you can see in the pictures below. The clear coat is still smooth with no fading. I did not see any major dents or dings. You can see there is damage on the driver side, rear bumper. It looks like the Sorento backed into a yellow pole. It looks like some of it can be buffed out, but you cannot make that crack disappear! If it bothers you, replacing is the best option for a few hundred dollars. The rest of the body really just looks great! The running boards are in great shape too. I did not find any rust. MOTOR/HANDLING:
The KIA starts right up reliably and idles without any issues or hesitation.
The vehicle goes right into gear and also shifts smoothly. The acceleration is
moderate like it should be and the brakes work fine as they should. This vehicle
feels reliable and sounds healthy. The powered steering is smooth and so is the
suspension. The 4 wheel drive is always nice to have no matter where you live. All in all, this vehicle is cheap to maintain and repair. The 4 wheel drive keeps you from being stuck and you don’t have to burn extra gas because you can keep it in 2 wheel drive when you aren't using all wheels. This vehicle can handle you cargo and passengers and there is a lot of neat storage options. Feel free to message me if you have any questions, or if you would like to buy it now. Thank you for looking, and good luck. -Daryl IMPORTANT INFORMATION (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY): IF this is a NO RESERVE auction, the vehicle being sold will sell to the highest bidder. 2014 Kia Optima is better by a nose
Wed, 27 Mar 2013Kia is showing off a slew of vehicles here in New York, including the ever-so-slightly refreshed 2014 Optima sedan you see here. The brunt of the changes surround the new front fascia, with repositioned LED lighting above the headlamp units and some new quad-LED fogs rounding of a touched-up front bumper. At the rear, Kia has reworked the taillamps, and of course, LEDs are found there, as well.
Other changes to the Optima for 2014 include the additions of two new displays inside the cabin - a 4.3-inch TFT display in the gauge cluster and a larger, eight-inch high-resolution screen that houses the navigation and infotainment data. There are also new seats inside the Optima, which are hopefully more comfortable and offer better bolstering than the decidedly flat chairs found in the current car, plus Kia has added available new safety features like blind spot monitoring and cross-traffic alert.
The powertrain offerings have not changed for 2014 - base cars still get a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine while the SX models get the 2.0-liter turbo. There is, however, a new Drive Mode Select system specifically for the SX, which adjusts transmission shift points and steering weight for a more engaging dynamic, or so we're told. (The Optima Hybrid model did receive upgrades to its battery and electric motor just recently, but those changes technically hit during the 2013 model year - it is not immediately clear if the gas-electric model will receive the updates shown here).
Next Kia Sedona minivan spied
Wed, 31 Jul 2013After skipping the 2013 model year and returning for 2014, the Kia Sedona is getting a full redesign for 2015, which we see for the first time in these new spy shots. The new Sedona isn't going to look as much like the 2011 KV7 Concept as we had hoped, but we definitely see some key styling cues from the Kia concept minivan.
Even though it's covered in heavy camouflage, we can see that some of the KV7's cues on the 2015 Sedona include the vertical front marker lights, the horizontal taillights and the pinched beltline starting at the C-pillar. Kia's trademark Tiger Nose grille is present and accounted for, as is the telltale dip in the windshield.
All in all, the next-gen Sedona already looks to be a significant improvement over the current, generally boring model, which dates back to 2006 and has a striking resemblance to the Ford Freestar. There is no word yet as to what will power the 2015 Sedona, but our spy shooter said that this prototype was most likely powered by a 2.2-liter diesel.
EPA says it will more closely monitor fuel economy claims from automakers
Fri, 15 Feb 2013The unintended acceleration brouhaha at Toyota led to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration tightening the vise on recall procedures. Likewise, the fuel economy kerfuffle that blew up with Hyundai and Kia's admission of overstated fuel mileage claims could lead to the Environmental Protection Agency policing automaker assertions by performing more audits.
At least, that's what a senior engineer with the government agency said while in Michigan giving a talk, according to a report in Automotive News. What that actually means, however, is still in question. Just ten to 15 percent of new vehicles - something like 150 to 200 cars per year - are rested by the EPA to verify automaker numbers. The EPA's own tests include a "fudge factor" to adjust lab mileage for real-world mileage, and the agency still relies on automakers to submit data for tests that it doesn't have the facilities to perform. How much more auditing can the EPA really expect to do, or perhaps a more relevant question would be how much more accurate could the EPA's audits become?
The price of gasoline, the psychological importance of 40 miles per gallon to a frugal car buyer, an automaker wanting to further justify the price premium of a hybrid, all of these things contribute to fuel economy numbers that insist on creeping upward. Perhaps the senior engineer encapsulated the whole situation best when he said, "Everybody wants a label that tells you exactly what you're going to get, but obviously that's not possible. A good general rule of thumb is that real-world fuel economy is about 20 percent lower than the lab numbers." If the lesson isn't exactly 'buyer beware,' it's at least 'buyer be wary.'
