WOW! 1,588 Original miles! This is a 2010 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited that I purchased brand new from the dealership! Original owner! It is what is affectionately called a Sunday Driver. I am an executive and the Jeep was driven only for pleasure. When not being driven it was stored covered in my garage! This Jeep is brand new, never been serviced, and the oil is clear and clean! It has never been in a wreck and has PERFECT original paint and original factory tires! This Jeep comes with the factory trailer towing package, just add your own hitch ball hook-up! This Jeep also has the factory 18 aluminum wheels! It still has the new car smell! In fact I have never even had it in 4WD or taken it off-road! This Jeep has never been in the rain! It drives great and is a blast to drive! This Jeep is a head turner on the road! The exterior color is Mango Tango Pearl and comes with the optional factory glow paint! It is absolutely breathtaking in person! The interior is in MINT condition and has no stains, tears, rips, scuffs, dings, gouges, etc.! Another set of NOS floor mats was purchased to protect the original factory mats! This was a non-smoking vehicle with no kids or pets! You can order a brand new Jeep from the dealership today and if you are extremely lucky it may arrive in as good as shape as this one! Look carefully at the photos as it shows this Jeep EXACTLY how it is and frankly doesnt need any embellishments as the pictures are accurate and clear! Note: License plates DO NOT go with the vehicle. I have the original clear title to this Jeep and it has no liens or any other encumbrances on it. Title will not be signed off on until all funds have cleared my bank. A deposit of $1,000.00 is due through PayPal within twenty-four (24) hours which will hold the vehicle for two weeks for the remainder of funds to be tendered. Buyer is responsible to pick up vehicle or to arrange for transportation. If you have any questions ask me BEFORE you buy it now or make an offer! Jeeps are super hot and increasing in price now that Hummers have been discontinued and this one is for all intents and purposes brand new. I am a serious seller looking for a serious buyer so no low ball offers! License plates DO NOT come with the vehicle!

2014 Jeep Cherokee marketing launches with 'Built Free' commercial

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Now that the 2014 Cherokee is finally on its way to dealerships, Jeep is starting its marketing blitz for its new crossover, beginning with this 60-second TV spot, called Built Free, that premieres today. Set to a Bob Dylan recording, the ad spot discusses something we can all relate to - the feeling of being too busy and too cooped up with everyday tasks to really get out there and explore the world. But as Jeep says in the commercial, "You're still here. And you're still you. The horizons haven't gone anywhere."
Autoblog spoke to Kim Adams-House, head of marketing for the Jeep brand, who explained that this Built Free spot is "an anthemic piece" that "sparks the conversation" for the new Cherokee. As you'll notice, none of the new Jeep's features - its off-road systems, nine-speed automatic transmission, etc. - are mentioned in the ad, but Adams-House says that future marketing "will speak to more" of the CUV's highlights. Following this 60-second spot, 30-second commercials will launch that talk about some of the specific product features.
When asked if the Built Free campaign will include any throwbacks to the original Cherokee, Adams-House told Autoblog that while "we love that vehicle," the new spots are intended to carve out "a unique space for Cherokee in our product portfolio and marketplace." On that same note, don't expect any other Jeep vehicles to get the Built Free treatment. Adams-House said that while this ad "does resonate overall with the brand," it is solely intended to promote the new Cherokee.

Maker Insists Feds Overstate Risk Of Fires With Grand Cherokee, Liberty Models
It's not often that recall stories make it above the fold, in that old newspaper parlance, but when one shows up as the lead story on the network evening news programs, you know it's something big.
And so it is with Chrysler snubbing its nose at a request by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to recall 2.7 million Jeeps the feds insist are at risk of potentially catastrophic fuel tank fires in a rear-end collision.

2016 Jeep Wrangler to ditch solid axles to save weight?

Tue, 29 Oct 2013

Hey, Jeep fans. If you think the idea of a funky-looking, car-based Cherokee revival is offensive, have a listen to what might be in store for the next-gen Jeep Wrangler. Automotive News is reporting that as Jeep develops the 2016 Wrangler, weight reduction is a crucial target, and the Wrangler's rugged solid axles could be sacrificed in the name of better fuel economy.
We've already heard the next Wrangler will go on a serious diet using aluminum body panels and an air suspension system, so the idea of a four-wheel independent suspension setup for this OG SUV isn't all that surprising. Besides, it's not like an independent suspension would limit the Wrangler's off-road abilities - just check out the Hummer H1. In fact, it might be the aftermarket parts companies - not Wrangler enthusiasts - who would be most disappointed by such a drastic suspension change, as the article states that the Wrangler's solid axles and coil-link suspension make it the most popular SUV for customization.
There are probably still a couple years before we'll start hearing any concrete details about the 2016 Wrangler, at which time it will be interesting to see how stricter fuel economy and crash safety regulations have been balanced with traditional Wrangler cues like its removable doors and roof and folding windshield. Let us know in the comments below if a Wrangler sans solid axles is any less of a Wrangler.
