A Beautiful example of a 1994 Jaguar XJS COUPE in remarkable condition with the very reliable 4.0 liter 6 cylinder engine, not the troublesome 12 cylinder engine. It is a very nice color combination in Black with Black leather interior and gray carpets and headliner.

The car has only had one respray in its original black so the paint is in beautiful condition with only very few minor door dings scratches all which can easily be buffed out and car was never in an accident or damaged. The leather is still soft and supple with only very light wear on the drivers seat , and the headliner is also in very nice shape. Inside you get the wonderful aroma of wood and leather and the wood is very nice as are the carpets trunk and engine compartment.

Mechanically it runs and drives very nicely with only 73k original miles and the car needs nothing. It has been my daily driver and has never given me a problem and always gets looks and stares. every where it goes. There are no warning lights on and the only item that needs attention is to recharge the A/C because it blows cool but not cold, but  the heat, windows, seats, keyless and door locks, radio/CD changer and all electrics work as they should. It just had the 70k service so all fluids were changed including brake flush and replaced master cylinder and brakes, shocks, trunk shocks just to name a few.The car also will come with its original 15 lattice wheels not the wheels as pictured.

This car has always been garaged when not in use and not driven during the winter . I have been on several 7+ hour long-distance trips and the car handles and drives as it should. The car will come with the original keys,books/manuals, as well as some service history. I acquired the car to become part of my collection of Jags but am having to downsize due to storage so a couple have to go and I would love this car to go to a great home. This car is beautiful enough to enjoy for pleasure or for show. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or want any more info on the car, I am more than happy to discuss the car .

Chinese patent filing shows what could be next Royal Limo from Jaguar

Fri, 10 May 2013

Someone filed a patent application in China for the Jaguar XJ limousine seen above, but no one's sure who filed it or what the car is for. One camp thinks it's a State limo for UK royals like the Bentley State Limousine, another camp thinks it's the work of aftermarket coachbuilders.
One thing's for sure: Assuming it ever gets made, anyone who buys it wants an XJ in name only; the modifications have removed almost all of the grace of the standard sedan. Estimated to be more than three feet longer than an XJ, the stretched rear doors are backed by an even more stretched rear section that, in losing the trademark XJ C-pillar (the D-pillar on this car), adds all sorts of ungainliness to its backside. What's more, the roof rises from front to rear, we can only assume to make room for people with large hats. Or the NBA player that the Chinese call "Sweet Melon."
Head over to AutoSohu for more photos from the application, if you're sure that's what you really want.

Jaguar Land Rover creates new Special Operations division for halo vehicles, bespoke commissions

Fri, 13 Jun 2014

Jaguar Land Rover has announced that a new division of the British manufacturer will be dedicated to "bespoke commissions," as well as heritage products and apparel. Oh, and the new Special Operations division will also be behind JLR's halo cars from now on.
It's that last one that is the most tantalizing, as the last real halo product to see production from Jaguar was the XJ220. The Range Rover, meanwhile, has always had its own kind of halo reputation, although the Land Rover brand itself has never really gotten into the game with a dedicated model.
According to JLR, the new halo models will focus on ultra-high performance and luxury with a limited run of vehicles. The bespoke models, meanwhile, will give the wealthiest customers full sway over how vehicles are outfitted, with unique paints, trims and other accessories. The new SpecOps division will be run by John Edwards.

Never-was Jaguar C-X75 hybrid supercar driven by Autocar

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

There's lucky, and then there's "I got to drive the Jaguar C-X75." The crew from Autocar is among the handful of souls who can honestly make the latter statement. Jaguar invited the publication down for a little time in both the passenger and driver seats around the automaker's proving grounds. While there's no end to the jealousy oozing from our pores, the good news is that there were a few cameras on hand to capture the experience. As you may recollect, the C-X75 Concept was a unique hybrid supercar concept built to duke it out with the likes of the Ferrari LaFerrari, Porsche 918 and the McLaren P1. The British automaker put it on track for production, but unfortunately stopped the project about six months ago.
With a twincharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine capable of revving to 10,000 rpm, the C-X75 concept yields 502 horsepower and gets partnered with four electric motors - one at each wheels. A 19kWh lithium-ion battery pack serves up 300kW of power, and combined, the motors and battery are capable of yielding an additional 194 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Combined, the driveline is good for more than 850 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. Said another way, the C-X75 will do the 0-60 miles per hour dance in under three seconds.
And Autocar got to drive it. You can watch the video for yourself by scrolling below.
