2003 Honda s2000 Track Car. This vehicle has no title and will not pass any emissions regulation in any state! I built this for track use only. It will pass safety inspections in non-emissions states and counties. It is in excellent condition and runs remarkably. I participated in two track days for a total of about 400 miles.  I purchased it from an insurance auction in 2008 with around 35k miles on it and completely rebuilt it.  Due to unforeseen circumstances I need to sell my car which I have spent countless hours rebuilding.  I don't know how much I have invested in the car over the last years (and I probably don't want to), but this track machine can be yours for a fraction of the cost.  The modifications speak for themselves.  I will not part it out so please don't ask.   Serious offers only please.  I have completed the following modifications:
8 point mandrel bent tig welded roll cage
Gutted stripped and extensive weight reduction
Corner balanced (total weight 2136 lbs.)
Relocated custom Fuel Safe fuel cell
All stainless braided -6 AN fuel lines and fittings
AEM Stand alone engine management system
Built in eugo wide band air fuel sensor
Custom on track tune
K&N short ram intake
Full open stainless exhaust by Invidia
Floating cylinder block guard

Please feel free to message me with any questions.

Honda renders three-row MPV for Jakarta reveal

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

In preparation for the Indonesia International Motor Show coming up in September, Honda has released a teaser sketch (click to enlarge) of a new three-row MPV - specifically designed for this region - set to debut at the show. Honda says this yet-to-be-named people mover will be positioned in the entry-level MPV segment, which it says is a crucial part of the Indonesian auto market.
While there is no way to tell the size of the vehicle based off this rendering, it does appear to be far more stylish than the Honda CR-V, although the stepped-down beltline and the pinched shape of the rear quarter window have us thinking that Honda designers have been staring at the BMW i3 a little bit too much. The New Honda MPV will be powered by a 1.5-liter gas engine, and it goes on sale (and production) in Indonesia early next year. Honda has released a short press release for the new model, which is posted below.

Honda opening first new motherland plant in almost 50 years

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

Despite opening dozens of overseas plants in the past several decades in locations all over the globe, Honda Motor Co. has not expanded its car manufacturing capabilities in its home market of Japan since opening a facility in Sayama back in 1964.
But all of that is set to change this July when Honda opens the doors to a new assembly plant in Yorii, about two hours north of Tokyo. According to Bloomberg, the new facility has a projected annual capacity of 250,000 vehicles. The plant is part of the automaker's reorganization efforts, plans that include scaling back its older Sayama plant and bringing Yorii online with more efficient and innovative technology. There are additional benefits, too, as the Yorii plant is expected to create 3,800 jobs, both on-site and at its suppliers, and boost the local economy as other businesses ramp up to accommodate the influx of new workers.
While the automaker has not released specifics about which models will be produced at Yorii, Honda is expected to consolidate production of models including the Fit, a best-seller in its domestic market.

Honda to field this awesome Civic Tourer wagon in BTCC next season

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

We all know that the letters BTCC stand for British Touring Car Championship. But one of those Cs might as well stand for Civic, so dominant has the Honda team been in one of the most competitive tin-top racing series in the world. Honda has taken the manufacturers' and teams' titles in the BTCC for the past four years running, and the championship-winning drivers for the past three years have claimed the prize behind the wheel of a Civic. While that might have proven enough for any other manufacturer, Honda is returning again next season to defend its dominant position, and has just revealed the new car with which it intends to do so.
Next year Honda will be back on the grid with another Civic, only this time it's based on the new Euro-spec Civic Tourer. That will make Honda the only team in the BTCC (and one of only a few worldwide) fielding a wagon-based racing car. In announcing the new BTCC-spec Civic Tourer, the Honda Yuasa Racing team only released this one photo and didn't reveal much in the way of details, but team manager Peter Crolla indicated that "the weight, wheelbase, layout and suspension remain the same" as the hatchback which it will replace, only with a longer roofline.
Testing of the new touring wagon will commence in January before returning champions Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal will pilot the new Civic Tourer in the season opener at Brands Hatch in the UK in late March. It remains to be seen what car Andrew Jordan (who took the title this year in another Civic with the Pirtek Racing team) will be driving next season, but in the meantime, you can check out the full press release below for more.
