The most serious problems are as follows: Slightly faded body paint, replaced inside front passenger door handle (different color), slight dent on back bumper corner, two different keys are used to open/start car, does not include stereo controls, radio antenna is cut, and general wear and tear."

This Honda Accord LX runs well and is in great condition with only a few minor aesthetic defects.
It is a very good car for gas-mileage.
The exterior of the vehicle is brown, the interior is red.

Details are as follows:
- Working, in good condition, to the best of my knowledge:
All four power windows, all four doors, power locks, electric side-mirrors remote, trunk and hood buttons, seats, A/C, headlights brakelights and blinkers, rear-view and side mirrors, tires,  engine, transmission, cooling, fans, odometer, dome lights, all gears, internal clock on dashboard, ignition, door keyholes, and passenger-side sun visor.

- Defects:
Some parts of the paint are a little faded but car looks good overall, front right internal door handle (red) was broken and was replaced with a new gray handle part (so it is working but a different color,)  antenna is a stub, driver-side sun visor is missing, does not come with stereo controls, the back bumper has slight dent in left corner, parts of the vehicle have very slight aesthetic wear and tear.

- Extra stuff:
Vehicle will  include $20 worth of gas, a wheel lock Club, the spare tire, 1 door key and 1 ignition key, and anything else left in the vehicle.
Last registered owner (that I purchased vehicle from) was the city of Long Beach, Towing Operations; I am not the original owner.
I will share responsibility for DMV fees with the buyer; however, if you "Buy It Now" I will pay all DMV fees.
Buyer is responsible for picking up the car.

Feel free to make me an offer - I would be more than happy to skip several days of waiting and sell it to you sooner and cheaper than the Buy It Now price.

Honda showcases the letter R in cool new ad campaign

Sun, 02 Nov 2014

Okay Honda, you've won the Internet for the week. This cool "double-sided" video, featuring the new Civic and Civic Type R Concept, is one of the more interesting YouTube spots we've seen.
On the surface, "The Other Side" shows a regular dad, simply going about his day and picking his daughter's up from school. But press the "R" key while watching the video, and it transitions into an alternate video. The dad is now in a Civic Type R Concept, and he's not on the school run. Instead, he's involved in something... a bit more devious.
We won't spoil the ending, but suffice it to say, you'll want to watch this video through to its conclusion. Also, because of the unique nature of this video, we can't embed it here, so you'll need to hop over to Honda's UK YouTube channel.

Honda wins Commercial of the Decade, but not for the ad you think [w/VIDEO]

Honda's Commercial of the Decade: "Grrr" - Click above to watch video
The mad men at Adweek recently voted for the Commercial of the Decade (Super Bowl commercials not included) and Honda took top honors over memorable ads from the last ten years by companies like Nike, Budweiser and Sony. That's not a big surprise considering Honda often puts a huge amount of effort into its on-air spots. However, the Japanese automaker didn't win for the commercial you might have expected: "Cog." Though Honda's famous commercial that breaks down a European Accord Tourer into a Rube Goldberg-esque machine was also a finalist, it was beaten by another Honda commercial called "Grrr" that's narrated by Garrison Keillor of all people. You've probably never seen it, but you can after the jump.
Volkswagen also made the list of finalists, but the particular ad chosen out of all the comical VW ads we've seen was unexpected as well. Most surprising carmaker with a commercial in the finals: Saturn. Who knew...
