We bought a brand new Ford Transit a few months back for a new business venture. Our needs have changed a bit so we no longer need such a large car. This is a really great vehicle for having lots of space and easy to drive compact size with great mileage (27mpg on highway).
It is an XLT Van model (only 2 seats) with upgraded options including: - Voice Sync (for operating with bluetooth phones) - Rear doors can open 255 degrees (as opposed to the regular 180 degrees...very handy for taking things in an out). - Extra key fobs (4 in total) No side or rear windows (perfect for keeping your inside belongings protected from unwanted eyes). Outside color is red. This car is in essentially like new condition. It looks and runs perfectly. Only approximately 5800 miles on it. One owner, non smoking. Perfect clean title, haven't had a single issue or even a scratch. We also have a complete service package we bought from Ford for an extra $1700. None of the service package has been used yet. We can transfer it to the new owner if desired. It covers all regular maintenance like oil changes, brakes, belts, etc. If you don't need it, not a problem, we will get a refund from Ford for it. J Mays retiring from Ford design, succeeded by Moray Callum
Tue, 05 Nov 2013Ford's highly influential head of design, J Mays, has announced that he'll be retiring from his position after 33 years in the industry, 16 of which were at the Dearborn, MI-based company. Upon departure, he'll be succeeded as group vice president of design by Moray Callum. If that last name sounds familiar, yes, he's the brother of Jaguar's Ian Callum.
It's difficult to explain just how big of a role Mays had on not just Ford's design over the years, but on the entire industry. Before heading to Dearborn, Mays worked for Audi, BMW and then Volkswagen, where he was involved in concept cars that paved the way for design icons like the first-generation Audi TT and the Volkswagen New Beetle. As for his Ford resume, it's extensive.
Mays joined the company in 1997 as design director for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury and Mazda, as well as the Premier Automotive Group (Volvo, Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin). He was heavily involved in the Ford Fusion, Focus, Fiesta, Taurus, F-150 and Mustang, while also contributing to concept cars like the Atlas, Evos, 427, Forty-Nine, Shelby GR-1, Lincoln MKZ and the MKC.

There was a time not so long ago when opting for a base Ford Mustang meant getting little more than some sheetmetal, an anemic four-cylinder engine and what may very well have been the world's most disappointing automatic transmission. During the Fox Body years, Ford seemed hell-bent on living up to Carroll Shelby's derogatory description of the coupe as little more than a runabout for demure office assistants, and the result was a base model with fewer sporting intentions than a Dilbert day calendar.
Some 20 years later, hopping behind the wheel of an entry-level pony is an entirely different experience. With all of the menacing aesthetics of the brawnier GT, a well-equipped interior and a drivetrain that toes the line between efficiency and power better than few before it, the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 is an attractive option for buyers in the big coupe market. But is it attractive enough to forgo the beastly GT?

And this being the GT model, it's not packing the V6 or the turbo four, but the red-blooded 5.0-liter V8 that tells us and enthusiasts worldwide that the new Mustang has not lost its way.
