 I have a very nice '04 Ranger for auction. I purchased it from a co worker a few months back with VERY light front end damage (see pic). It did blow the airbags but everything was replaced (driver/ pass bags, computer, and seat belts) and the system is properly functioning. She was only going about 25mph on a country road when someone turned in front of her. There was no frame damage and it required only a headlight/ turn signal, grill, bumper, bumper valance, and header panel replacement. It's a good title truck.

It's a 2WD XLT 2 door extended cab with a 5 speed manual transmission. It has ice cold A/C, CD player, tilt/ cruise, and a sliding rear window, crank windows and manual locks.

Mechanical: My co worker was the original owner and I have every receipt for everything done to the truck from the day it was new. Oil changes were every 3-5k miles (some in the 2k miles). The brakes only have a few thousand miles, tires are almost new, a newer ball joint, a new tie rod, and a front end alignment ~500 miles ago are some of the recent work completed. I have all of the work that was done summarized and sorted chronologically in an Excel file if interested. It's a 3.0V6 with a manual transmission with very low 57k miles. It runs well and did 26mpg on a highway trip recently. The leaf spring shackles are rock solid and the frame just has some light surface rust, not swiss cheese like my last Ranger.

Cosmetics: The interior is really clean with very little wear. The previous owner was a non smoker and so am I. It has some scratches and light dings (mostly to the top of the bed sides) but it shines up really well and looks good. It originally had painted bumpers but since the front needed replaced from the accident we replaced the front and back with chrome ones and added a chrome grill. Also, I added some chrome caps to the steel wheels so it looks a little better.

Payment: Deposit of $200 via PayPal within 48 hours of end of auction. Full (cleared) payment is due before shipping. Cash or bank check. It's not in my way, so the pick up date is not critical.

Shipping: I would be happy to ship it at buyers expense after payment is clear. Also, I would be happy to pick up the buyer at the Cleveland Hopkins airport (CLE) and you can drive it home.

Ford GT40 makes historic return to racing at Goodwood

Is there a more iconic, American racecar than the Ford GT40? That may be a discussion for another day (although by all means, tell us how wrong we are in Comments), but this video of heaps of GT40s running in the Goodwood Revival races certainly has us thinking that Ford's Ferrari-killer might just be the best racer the Land Of The Free and Home Of The Brave has ever come up with.
That's completely ignoring the fact that the GT40 was largely developed by Brits using American money, but that's besides the point (there was also a rather brash Texan, who had a big role later in development). The resulting vehicle was dominant, besting the cars of Il Commendatore from 1966 to 1969, although it should be noted that Ford's GT40 was unable to beat Ferrari in its first two Le Mans outings in 1964 and 1965.
Those four years of dominance, which started with Ford sweeping the podium, were enough to establish the GT40's legend. And now, here we are almost 50 years later, celebrating the mid-engined monsters at Goodwood, in their first ever one-make race. Take a look below for the entire video.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost

Earlier this week, Ford invited us to Charlotte, NC, to ride in an all-new 2015 Mustang fitted with its turbocharged 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder. It's the first forced-induction, four-cylinder ponycar for the Blue Oval since the sun set on the 1986 Mustang SVO. We jumped at the opportunity, as only a handful of people have ever been in the passenger seat of this new car, and most automotive media won't get as close as we did until this fall.
As we revealed in our Deep Dive, Ford will slot this new turbocharged four as premium powerplant between its naturally aspirated 3.7-liter V6 and the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8. At last mention, the automaker said the direct-injected, all-aluminum engine will develop 305 horsepower and 300 pound-feet of torque, returning the best fuel economy of the three powerplants in the process. History buffs will note that those figures are appreciably stouter than the 200 horses and 240 lb-ft that the '86 SVO realized out of the same displacement, and the latter's figures were hugely impressive at the time. On paper, the new EcoBoost four looks to be a good fit for most owners who want to balance performance with efficiency - we were eager to see how it felt from the passenger seat.

MyFord Touch getting buttons and knobs back to counter criticisms

Ford deserves credit for being a front-runner in offering advanced infotainment technology with its Sync and MyFord Touch systems, but continued consumer complaints over its confusing touchscreen interface and capacitive controls has made the automaker relent. The Wall Street Journal reports that physical buttons and knobs for controlling tuning and volume will be coming back to Ford vehicles equipped with the controversial infotainment system.
The 2013 F-150 with MyFord Touch gives us a glimpse of what the new layout with buttons and knobs might look like, as Ford says a similar balance of touch screen capability and buttons/knobs are what's being planned for future models. And, while capacitive controls have no fans in the halls of Autoblog, many of Ford's models with MyFord Touch do have a large physical knob for adjusting volume with integrated buttons for tuning and advancing tracks, though most of those are models with the optional upgraded Sony Audio system. Lincoln models with MyLincoln Touch, however, feature only capacitive controls for all stereo and climate functions.
Despite receiving enough complaints to throw buttons and knobs back into the mix (a move that reminds us of BMW's iDrive trajectory, among others), Ford reports that Sync and MyFord Touch have still been sold on 79 percent of its 2013 model year vehicles, a number it claims is double the rate that Honda and Toyota are getting for their infotainment systems. Ford also states that owners who do opt for the duo of technologies are more satisfied with overall vehicle quality than those who don't have it.
