This is true example of a T-Bucket crafted in 1970 from a real 1923 Ford Model T. The current owner had it built in 1970 and the vehicle is fully documented. This vehicle is in excellent shape. The undercarriage is very clean, the frame needs nothing. The paint is perfect.
The engine is a 3.8 V6 Chevrolet from the era of it's build. While the engine is mostly stock there is a Holly Street Dominator Carb and Intake Manifold. There is also long tube headers that go into side pipes. The exhaust sounds very deep and V8 like. Well were not sure how much horsepower the engine is making, she certainly get's up and goes. The only flaw on this vehicle is the chrome underside the exhaust. The transmission is a turbo 350. Brakes are non-abs drum.
The interior upholstery and exterior paint were all done in 2012 by Mikes Auto in Gardner. The finish is flawless in a creamy white gloss with tasteful pinstriping.
Being that this T-Bucket has been built and owned by a Vet and POW, there is a POW tribute theme to this vehicle that can be seen in the pictures of the rear of the vehicle.
The suspension is springs and shocks.
The front fenders being not fixed and turn with the wheels. The front turn signals are in the style of retro lamps. There is purple undercarriage lights.
Stored in winter and driven on nice days.

Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
Ford reveals all-new Everest SUV at Asia-Pacific forum [w/poll]
Thu, 13 Nov 2014While the Explorer may have shifted from a truck-based sport-ute to a car-based crossover, Ford still offers buyers on the other side of the Pacific a Ranger-based SUV in the form of the Everest. And at the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Beijing today, the Blue Oval revealed the all-new version you see here.
Previewed in concept form over a year ago and made specifically for the Asia-Pacific market, the new Ford Everest is designed to be more refined on the road and more capable off of it. Like the Explorer once was, the new Everest is based on a stretched version of the overseas Ford Ranger pickup. Depending on the specific market, Ford will offer the new Everest with a range of engines including a 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo four and two Duratorq turbodiesels - a 2.2-liter four and a 3.2-liter inline-five - mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
Earmarked to take on the likes of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado (known in these parts as the Lexus GX) and the Jeep Grand Cherokee, the new Everest promises rock-crawlers even better off-road capabilities. It's got nearly nine inches of ground clearance, over 30 inches of wading depth, a 29-degree approach and 25-degree departure angles and a set of features including on-the-fly adjustable four-wheel drive.
Which is more fuel efficient, driving with a pickup's tailgate up or down?
Tue, 26 Aug 2014
Thanks to the smoke wand in the wind tunnel, you can actually see the difference in our video.
Should you drive with your pickup truck's tailgate up or down? It's an age-old controversy that's divided drivers for decades. Traditionalists will swear you should leave the tailgate down. Makes sense, right? It would seem to let the air flow more cleanly over the body and through the bed. But there's also a school of thought that argues trucks are designed to look and operate in a specific manner, and modern design techniques can help channel the airflow properly. So don't mess with all of that: Leave the tailgate up.
