forced to sell... i hate too... this is a nice straight 1969 ford f100 custom cab.
has power steering and brakes.. factory 302 and automatic transmission. transmission has been put in floor.. interior is a 8.5 outta 10 dash,seats,carpet etc nice has alot of patina great for restore or drive daily which i have. body is 99% rust free look at all pics no bad dents or nothing bed is nice and straight look at all the pics please. this truck will come with a tag receipt from georgia. we dont get titles on autos of this age. you can get a title in your state with a tag receipt and bill of sale. this truck purrrrrs like a kitten. im new to ebay not looking to rip nobody. feel free to contact me anytime eastern time by calling or texting or emailing me. 423-987-7279..jay.. truck has new tires also. look at the factory toolbox behind the seat where the gas tank would go. but i was told that factory done this as an option and moved the gas filler on the side of bed which looks factory see pics of it and in the bed... looks factory to me and the truck has been in georgia all its life i was told.. i want to restore this but forced to sell.... looked for a long time for a truck as nice as this one and as solid... good luck and happy bidding its no reserve and gotta go.... a $300 deposit is due at end of auction by paypal or contact me. and balance due by 7 days in full. pickup only will hold for whoever wins with no storage fees.... its sets in my building not outside. always under a shed. Ford confirms Everest SUV production for China
Sat, 19 Apr 2014According to Ford, the Chinese SUV segment grew by 49 percent in 2013, and the Blue Oval held a 4.5 percent market share. At the 2014 Beijing Motor Show, Ford is showing the Everest SUV that, while just a concept for now, will go into production in the near future.
The Everest is a big, brawny seven-seat SUV that mixes solid, chiseled styling and contemporary Ford design cues. Up front there is an angular version of the trapezoidal grille and sharp, wraparound headlights. The beltline rises in the rear to make the back appear higher than the front. The rear seems just as chiseled, with the taillights resting in jagged scallops. There is no doubt that this concept means to look rugged, and ready for rough roads - the whole thing looks pretty great.
The truck was penned by Ford's Asia Pacific design and engineering team in Australia, and it was first shown in Sydney last year. Ford's JMC joint venture will build the truck for the Chinese market, and it will be sold at Ford dealers there. The Blue Oval isn't hinting at what powers the production version yet, but it reportedly shares some components with the foreign-market Ranger.
US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction
Wed, 07 Aug 2013For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.
2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid recalled over lack of roof padding
Mon, 29 Jul 2013Ford is recalling 33,021 units of its 2013 C-Max Hybrid not equipped with optional panoramic roof panels. During testing, the model in question returned testing results for occupant head injuries that fell outside of criteria laid out in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard. The issue puts occupants at greater risk of injury in the event of a crash if they are in an affected car.
The recall will begin August 19, at which time C-Max Hybrid owners can take their cars to dealers to have energy-absorbent material installed between the headliner and roof. The bulletin below from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has more information.
