Up for auction is a 2001 Ford E-350 Excellance conversion ambulance with the sought after 7.3L Diesel engine. This unit was previously owned and meticulously maintained by a career Fire Department until we purchased it and have used it for the ambulance service. It has 90,762 miles on it and runs and drives great. Engine is smooth and transmission shifts as it should through all the gears. We went through this vehicle when we obtained it and serviced the vehicle to specifications. It has all 6 brand new 10 ply tires with about 2,500 miles on them, all new front brakes, rotors, and the front seats were rebuilt and new upholstery.The rear ac unit was just refurbished last week and is ready to transport patients. Lighting is whelen led with strobes in the front light bar and halogen rotators. This would make a great unit for any agency.Per ebay policy all emergency lights and sirens have been disconnected but will be easily reconnected for a authorized agency. There are many things I could call this exercise. A party is not one of them.
I've spent three days crammed in the axle well of this 1989 Mustang with nothing to keep me company beyond a trouble light, a DeWalt drill on the very last of its legs and billion razor sharp, red hot slivers of metal with an affinity for my most sensitive of regions. My joints are raw from crawling around on the concrete. I'm half deaf from the shriek of the spot weld cutter and the boom of the cold chisel and hammer.
Ford F-150 Tremor to pace NASCAR Truck Series this weekend
Wed, 14 Aug 2013Ford's bro-tastic F-150 Tremor will be pacing this weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway. The Tremor fills a gap in the Ford F-Series lineup that we imagine the NASCAR set have clamored for - a hot-rod pickup truck.
Where the F-150 Raptor is designed to go quick on anything, the Tremor and its 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 are designed to tackle the road. The 365-horsepower and 420-pound-foot EcoBoost is unchanged from the rest of the F-150 line, but it combines the shortest drive ratio with the lightest two-door body, making it a bit of hot rod.
Ford will be offering hot laps with Michigan native Brad Keselowski behind the wheel of the Tremor for fans that arrive in the Irish Hills on August 14. The main showing for the new pickup will be the August 17 race, though, when it'll lead the field at the start of the race and through cautions.
